  1. We booked with Celebrity Honolulu to Vancouver... a great itinerary for May 2023.
  2. How do I tell the difference between the chips ?
  3. Thanks for the quick response. Wondering if all X ships do as I'll be on Eclipse. I did post on their board...but !!!!
  4. Best of luck trying to upgrade at the port terminal or once onboard.
  5. Yes...but then I can't respond or I'll get huge roaming charges...This happened once in Canada to me....so I don't take the chance. Once onboard I'll have internet but by then it'll be too late to respond...to the random testing...right ??
  6. Not a gambler so how do I do that? I'll have $900 OBC on Eclipse.
  7. Experience....Call back and get another CSR. You can make this change in location. I've done it on more than one occasion.
  8. I know you can cash out nonrefundable OBC onboard RCI in the casino but how and can you on Celebrity?
  9. Yes...RCI ships you must show your negative test result (done no more than 2 days prior to sail) as you board the ship sailing out of Vancouver.
  10. Love the "Smoking Rooster" in Havensight great food especially the yummy Banana Pudding.
  11. Sorry that's not what we saw our last two port stops there in March & April. Taxi's still drop off in center of town near the straw market and still plenty cruising the streets "Back To Ship".
  12. We ate at the Panama Bakery this past January on our port stop and it was great !!!
  13. We were just recently cruising in/out of Amsterdam. Plenty of taxi's lined up at AMS really no reason to feel the need to pre-reserve. We used one to get to our hotel then the hotel called one for us to get to the cruise port then again plenty lined up for our return cruise end day to get back to AMS.
  14. If you're in a suite they might be included. We usually take ours in our checked luggage (no need to carry them) however on our recent RCI Jewel the ones in our OS we're much better than ours.
  15. These work well for more than just wine. We started using them many years ago when cruising to the Mexican Riviera to bring home some favorite Tequilas.
  16. On our port stops this past January we had no need for a taxi in Cabo at all and easily walked into town and back from the tender dock. In Puerto Vallarta we used a shuttle from the dock (across from Walmart) and it was $4.00pp to the Malecon. We took a random street taxi from there to get back to the ship and again it was $8.00 for the two of us. This couldn't have been easier. We've been at these ports many times throughout the years.
  17. Thank you so very much for your post. I certainly don't want my picture to be on the most wanted list in Canada. This long scheduled cruise has had some stressful moments so far that questioned even if it would happen. Again, I appreciate your input.
  18. Agree...But we prefer the Hyatt Place (we used to stay at ES but not anymore) and Duffy's. Great location right next door as you know to the Harbor Shopping center...love Publix Market.
  19. Hmmm Many of you didn't like my RCI suggestion. However the Canada NE on RCI is hardly the party atmosphere you might assume in early October. I certainly wasn't recommending the Caribbean.
  20. This is a great itinerary...waiting for the minute the 2024 comes out.
  21. We had the table numbers switched on us before (a 4top window). We were on a B2B and mid-cruise 2nd leg a solo cruiser tried the switcheroo ...it didn't work out so well for him
  22. So their not really going to stop this port completely...right...that was my point to the OP. We usually cruise there in early October and looking forward to it again.
