  1. How recent do you want? As I posted above I just flew from there last Sunday the 7th. Regardless with what happens from one day to the next can vary.
  2. Yes they will....but first we try ourselves and if there's a line we take the concierge's help. Thought we were going to need help last Sunday to disembark Jewel in Amsterdam but there was absolutely no line...we got off early as we were worried about Schiphol but departure couldn't have been easier.
  3. Well it depends on your cruiseline. Our's RCI...they ask towards the end of the itinerary. We always do self assist and are off as soon as it's available.
  4. You should have no problem filling out the RCI health questionnaire at your hotel online or using the RCI App.
  5. A lot can and will change by next year. I have no concern cruising out of Canada (Vancouver) this September. We (our extended family of 6) only need to pre-test 2 days before we board our RCI ship and have filled out the ArriveCan 72 hours prior to arrival at YVR.
  6. I have no idea, but the possible surge pricing using Uber to Port Canaveral might be a surprise. At least when booking with a shuttle company you know the price point for their service.
  7. Thanks for adding to my post...I shouldn't have assumed VT was known about.
  8. After just navigating through (AMS) Schiphol....(YVR) Vancouver doesn't concern me in the least for our September cruise. Agree with the above...use YVR.
  9. Agree completely with you. Just returned from our Arctic Circle itinerary last week where we needed Euros and Krone. I also easily ordered them from my local B of A. There was only one place in Amsterdam that the merchant would only take a credit card. We too only take a bit of local currency with us when at a port stop.
  10. And eat at one of the many many outdoor cafe's !!! From our canal facing window at the Banks Mansion we could see lot's of people very very late into the evening/night/morning out and about.
  11. Have you tried booking Hyatt Place through ValueTrips?
  12. There are also pedi-cabs (bicycle type)...We used one for our return back to the tender area this past January.
  13. Their not across the street from each other. We've stayed at Hyatt Place (just off 17th Street and sitting just behind Embassy Suites)) several times and love the location which is right next to the Harbor Shopping center with a Publix market, shops and restaurants...our favorite Duffy's.
  14. Maybe their price when booking the 2 bedrm was less than what they can now downgrade to...just a thought. OP, having all that room isn't really too crazy.
  15. When we were on Explorer this past March we also heard from the hotel director that it was going to be amped in 2023...but you never know what actually ends up happening until it does.
  16. Where else is the helicopter pad supposed to be on this older class of ship? Limited access really to this area so not really designed for a pool. The pool is mid-ship. Love this class of ship and have enjoyed it many times as recently as last week and will be again in September and October.
  17. Oh you are going to have a great time...enjoy !!!!!
  18. We also did lunch in Kinsale but won't spend the time getting there and back again just for lunch.
  19. Arriving at 4:00pm isn't too late in Amsterdam ! We just did the exact same thing but our RCI Jewel with the schedule change arrived at 9:00pm and there were many people getting off/on late into the night. Amsterdam is a late night city !!! We had spent 3 pre-cruise days there so we opted to just stay onboard.
  20. Perhaps they were successful but they probably paid $$'s.
  21. You too might consider cruiseline transfers fro LAX to San Pedro otherwise Uber/Lyft might be an option for you. We are considering doing the Van Nuys Flyaway to LAX terminal one and then walk over to where Uber/Lyft can pickup and take us to San Pedro for our Oct cruise (Panama Canal).
  22. Yes...and having to travel with all those documents...passport so much easier.
  23. Just make sure you put your tests in your carryon. We bubble wrapped ours and had them at the bottom of our backpack. Pretty stressful keeping them from getting damaged especially on our flight to Amsterdam where we used them for boarding Jewel a couple of weeks ago. We had no trouble with reception at our hotel and had them print out the hard copy for us just in case.
  24. No reservations...just show up early to get the seats you want in the roped off area as they open that about 15min before the aqua show starts for anyone to use.
  25. Just recently on Harmony with extended family staying in a GS & 2 bdrm GS we had early access and reserved seating for the Aqua Theater show...that was the only one that was important to us.
