  1. Personally the only time I use a 3rd party to book a hotel is for Hyatt Place with ValueTrips. Otherwise I book directly with the hotel as a member and opt for a refundable rate and an easy cancellation policy.
  2. We did a private shuttle for the 6 of us. Driver picked us up at 8:00am and we were at MCO a little before 9:00am. We were on RCI Harmony.
  3. Heard on the news that the Clear program may be stopping...anyone have an update on this change? We have had Global Entry and it's worked great for us.
  4. You should have no trouble with that flight time. We booked our transportation with Cruise Control and were there in plenty of time. We did self assist and the driver was there waiting for us. Arrived right around 9:00am at MCO. Call Corey at Cruise Control 888 416-8830
  5. Check pricing but your might consider using Chilkoot. We did an amazing excursion with them. Their one of the most popular options in Skagway. We opted for the morning bus up train down and it was great. Back into Skagway at noon that gave us time to have lunch and walk around the town.
  6. We just print out our SetSail Pass and get our luggage tags from the porter at the terminal. The tags are strong just like the airline type. You or the porter will write your cabin number on them and you're good to go.
  7. Yes, his tours book up quickly. Hopefully next time you have a port stop there you'll get on his tour.
  8. We have Hyatt Place through ValueTrips for this May and got the $119.00 rate. With tax it comes to $134.47...a great price point for our post cruise night.
  9. So is there a chance Captain Johnny might be coming to ICON?
  10. You've made a great choice. I recommend this company often. Hoping you get Paul McNeil...he's just amazing. Probably one of the best tours we've ever done. Don't be concerned about missing Peggy's Cove. Post on your roll call.
  11. I'll add to the above...South Florida Shuttles. Also check with your hotel they might offer a shuttle to your hotel and to the port.
  12. The SL concierge had a small birthday cake delivered to our cabin on DH's last birthday cruise.
  13. I'll assume the MIA flights off set the pricing instead of flying into FLL. This is something that always varies for us.
  14. Not the poster however...rent from MCO and return to the rental office in Port Canaveral. If you're a Costco member check online they have great rates. We've used Budget.
  15. No charge for parking when you're a guest during your stay. However, parking there as a cruise package is completely different.
  16. Try Cruise Control. Call the owner (Corey) and he'll provide all your needs for transportation. Absolutely our go to company. 888 416-8830
  17. I was merely adding to LeeW's post. Of course I agree door slamming happens everywhere. It seems to be something that many don't realize their doing it.
  18. And it's the people that let their cabin door SLAM.
  19. So sorry I quoted you with my response instead of blackfly.
  20. Couldn't they just park at the port? Check for rooms at Hyatt Place through ValueTrips when their schedule opens perhaps in October for bookings 2025.
  21. We stayed at Hampton Inn Suites Blue Lagoon this past Feb and will be staying there again next month. Once you make a reservation keep checking prices and rebook if a lower rate becomes available. Right across the street from a Publix market area with shops a couple of restaurants and fast food...great pre-cruise location. They have a comp breakfast and a comp shuttle from MIA to their hotel. Shuttle from hotel to POM is $14.00pp. Then from POM back to MIA there will be a company (with several shuttles) just outside the port terminal doors with big signs offering shuttle to MIA for $10.00pp. no reservations needed. These fill up fast and you're on your way.
  22. We used Cruise Control for our round trip needs and loved the Home2Suites.
