  2. its a know issue that been happening for about 2 months now. here is my topic i posted about:
  3. here is a compass from last year with a eastern itinerary: https://issuu.com/hochmania/docs/cruisecompass-hm2022-0828-0829-merged-compressed
  4. looks like your standard tv mount that has the tilt adjustment, very common. usually all you have to do just push the tv to whatever angle you want
  5. usually takes about 15-30 minutes to set up the gangway and get the clearance from the government to get people off. sometimes the ship gets to the dock a few minutes earlier then schedule
  6. usually you dont need the passport information right away when booking flights. that is something that can be done later on the airline website by logging in your account for that airline
  7. This is from December 2022: https://issuu.com/hochmania/docs/navigator_of_the_seas_7-night_cabo_mazatlan_vallar
  8. i too have the same problem, nothing on the menu makes me want to go the dinning room and the lido buffet has the same food anyways
  9. call carnival. during the covid era i never got a gift card refund. the problem was in one of the many systems they have, they did not had my address on file to mail me a new card. once they added my address, i got the new card in a few days
  10. 1) at the terminal they will be multiple lines..one line for latitude/priority, one line for regular people and one line for the suite people. when they check your document, they will you tell to join the priority line for the check in 2) concierge is useless and not a real perk, they dont do anything for platinum people. they only focus on the suite people 3) behind the ship tour is back, go to the cruise next desk to sign up for it 4) you can make reservations online, about 125 days before sail date. you dont need to wait until you onboard the ship
  11. how does a battery operated fan in my room impact the safety of the guests?
  12. yes. they have a big water jug in the studio and they also have some food items like pastry and cookies
  13. you can no longer contact them and they never respond to any emails
  14. i only need internet to do the airline check in
  15. i agree. other cruise lines like royal and norwegian put the items in the rooms depending on your level so why not carnival? back in the day, carnival did put the water in the room and they was a sign on the water bottle that it was your vifp water. To clear up alot of confusion on taking the water bottom from the room, carnival should be bringing back this sign on the bottles
  16. that was my experience too and it is not fun going to guest services to fix the bill. The good thing with going to the bar is that you need to sign that receipt and you can see the 0.00 price
  17. the nickel and diming comes from things that used to be free/included with your cruise fare to now being an extra cost at a price that always increases
  18. what hurt them was the itinerary of Port Canaveral, Freeport and Nassau. Horrible itinerary . I am so glad they have better itinerary like the southern caribbean to Barbados
  19. the oasis has cats since the ship was built in 2009 and it is now 2023, 14 years later mama mia will be on the allure for many many years
  20. Yes they have. this is from a few weeks ago. it is on a sea day in the afternoon
  21. Tour operators knows the quirkiness of the ship time and local time difference. do be aware that the tour operator time will be local port time and not ship time. make sure you are aware of the time difference and always have a watch or a device with ship time
  22. back in the day, before the pandemic NCL used to have 2 ships out of NYC during the summer. 1 ship did the Florida and Bahamas run and the other ship did the Bermuda run it was always a jewel class ship that did the Florida and Bahamas run like the Gem and a breakaway class ship for Bermuda
