It was a very windy event here in Central FL last night. The coast is really suffering a lot of damage since the erosion that took place 6 weeks ago with Ian, has left it defenseless. They had mandatory evacuations of that area and established a curfew. I see you are flying in from BHM. My son was there overnight and is currently flying back to Chicago O'hare. I am just about to check in for my flights tomorrow, fingers crossed all goes smoothly from this point on. Genzi

I bring a headlight, so I can have light hands free. Learned this after being on board a ship that lost all power!!! Magnets to hang itinerary/things to do on the wall; mini lysol spray to sanitize with :)

Thanks, Where I live in the center of the state we fared very well. No flooding, tree damage or power outage; but the southern part is severely affected and the eastern coastal areas have severe flooding. It will be a long recovery but work has already begun because everything was staged and ready to go. A very good plan. Genzi

Just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Sky. It was not crowded at any of the venues. The seating in the theater is a bit odd, with banquette seating with a row of tightly spaced regular seats in front. It makes it harder to get into those seats but arriving on time there should be no issues. Food was excellent throughout. Service at LeBistro was a bit slow. The production shows were excellent and the cast put an additional Cabaret style evening featuring Broadway tunes, they were exceptional. The dancers also put in an appearance at the White Hot party up on deck. Lastly one of the lounge entertainment groups called "Sonata" brought down the house in the main theater doing a jam-packed rock tribute. Wherever they performed people were there to enjoy.

We just returned from a sailing on the Sky and they did offer the wine tasting. They had the Latitudes party but no dinner with the officers. They also did not provide OBC.

It is dependent on the hotel. NCL charges a per person charge for the room, which is more than if you booked on your own.

If you booked the hotel through NCL it should include the transfer to the port. I think it may show on your cruise invoice as hotel with transfer. I am cruising out of Piraeus and have booked the hotel, my invoice reads: GRAND HYATT ATHENS (DELUXE KING) BUS FROM HOTEL TO PORT From past experience the hotel will give you information for the process to have your bags ready and the time. Yes, the exact same thing happened to me. I am on the same sailing. I called and the NCL dining reservation rep could not do it either. I then called my NCL rep and he had the same problem. It would do the 1st 6 fine but at #7 it zeroed out or would charge the fees. He said the system is not recognizing the Latitude perks for Platinum and above for some reason. Genzi

Just notified that this sailing has been canceled. I have lost count of the number of attempts I have made to get to New Zealand.

I usually sail as a solo passenger and wondered if they would still charge double or actually apply the 60% off to the 2nd charge; nope, they still charge double for a solo booking.

We cruised Hawaii way back in 2004 on the Wind. At that time they did the full group of the Islands and then sailed 2 full days down to Kiribati which was an interesting port stop and then 2 full days back to Hawaii. It was one of our best cruises ever. They should bring that itinerary back and bypass the US crew requirement.

You are right, sorry; but still it is not showing up on NCL site. I hope that the reschedule will work out. So many cancellation - reschedules.

I have been booked on the Dawn's April 13, 2023 Japan sailing & the April 25th, 2023 Transpacific. They still show on my site but they are gone from a general search and The Dawn now is showing in the Caribbean during those dates! I have not been notified that they have cancelled but I am expecting it. Not happy as this will be the 3rd reschedule due to cancellation. Sad, Genzi
