The balconies on deck 4 are bigger. Make sure you know what you are over to avoid noise.

I stayed in a spa veranda on NS. I did use the spa so it worked for me. The amenities are not what was advertised and the balcony smaller than the normal balcony rooms. I would stay again because I use the thermal spa and I liked the ease of getting out to the deck 10 pool deck and ease to get to lido etc.

I loved my induction cook top. I found most of my pans I had worked and did not need to replace any. I loved the fact that it heated up quickly and cooled down fast. The best part is that it only got hot under the pan which made clean up a breeze. I did not need to make sure that the pans fit perfectly so I don’t know where you read or heard that. It only gets hot under the pan despite the size of the burner. I had mine for over 10 years before I moved and it was still working well. I hope that helps.

Good morning, Thanks for all the baby Murphy prayers. Last I heard she is the second case of the day starting around 1pm. I will update as I hear anything. It is a beautifully cool day today. DGS has a soccer and baseball game tonight. He has a two week overlap of sports. I will try to make both. I love fried chicken but tend to buy it rather than make it myself. Good morning, it was a noisy night between fireworks and thunderstorm. Luckily Molly does well with both. I have had dogs who did not. @summer slope my heart goes out to you. “doing the right thing” feels really bad. They have started to uncover a few treasures at my aunts house (grandmas wedding ring) but mostly junk. My cousin found out there is at least one storage locker. My other aunt wants to go back to NYC to her apartment. She says she has a friend who will go look at it to make sure her walker will fit between her treasures. What a mess. Baby Murphy will have a last round of tests before tomorrow’s surgery. They will need to intubate her for the tests and keep the tube in prep for surgery. That will be tough on the parents. They had a great last few days with her. She will be in for 3 to 5 weeks after surgery. Yesterday was hard for me. Holidays are the worst. My son goes to my DIL’s family on the actual holiday which leaves me alone. It is really the only time she sees her family even though they live close. I never say anything since I have them so often and don’t want to put pressure on them. I tried going to a friends but seeing all her family made it worse. I remind myself it will get better and take one day at a time. Prayers for all in need and have a great day.

Happy 4th of July, My aunt passed away last night. My uncle got to Omaha a few hours before she died. Now the hard decisions begin. Where the other aunt will live and what and how to go through there stuff? Thanks for all the prayers. She passed peacefully per report. I hear we can see fireworks from our neighborhood. The plan is to set up chairs in the street and watch. We will see how that works out. Prayers for those in need and have a great day.

I had a dog who acted in pain , would not eat had GI upset and it was a bad tooth. Hopefully they checked his teeth.

Good morning all, I loved Norway and was in todays port in May. I took a HOHO and walked around. I was up early to check where the sprinklers are hitting the grass in the back (I have a dry patch). I got soaking wet trying to figure out how to adjust them. Molly was watching me from the deck stairs. I think she was laughing at me (if dogs can laugh). I was unsuccessful and will need to ask a neighbor. Denise, I know how you feel about the storms. When I first moved to Kansas we had a lot of tornado warnings. As the years have gone by we get less and less. I think with the weather changes they have moved east. Prayers to all in need and have a great day.

@Seasick Sailor Ouch! I hope it is not broken. Those big toes are tough to heal. Use the stiffest hard sole shoe you have so it does not bend much. @kazu I hope Ivan does better. You just wish our pets could tell us what was wrong with them. @luvteachingprayers for all you have to do.

Good morning, Another storm came through last night and cooled things off again. Once it dries out a bit the kids should enjoy playing outside. I almost hate to bring this up as you all will think my life is one big disaster. My 93 yo aunt who lives with my 90 yo aunt fell getting out of a cab on Friday. She has not regained consciousness and is not going to make it. These aunts are beyond eccentric. They have no children and there is one brother left alive. The 90 yo has been living with the 93 yo for the past 4 years in Omaha. She has a rent controlled apartment in NYC she has been paying for and has not been there in 4 years. They are both hoarders to the point there are only walking paths in their apartments. I can only imagine what has taken over in NYC. We have a large family and one of my brothers and two cousins are taking lead. The biggest challenge will be cleaning out the apartments. I told my brother we need to hire it done but how to do it without the consent of the remaining aunt will be the challenge. Who knows what is hidden in all their “treasures”! The powerful caretaking gene is screaming inside of me but I know I am not up to it. Prayers for all and have a good day.

DGK’s are still sleeping. I love chicken wings. They become the vehicle for me to consume ranch dressing so I tend to avoid them. Good morning, Happy Birthday to the hubby’s and Happy Retirement to @kochleffel. Baby Murphy is doing good and the cardiac team advised them to do normal baby things with her while in the hospital until the surgery next Thursday. Her oxygen needs are minimal and she is able to feed a little. Prayers to those in need and have a great day.

Ugh, surgery now moved to the sixth. She is stable and able to room in with the parents. Keep her in your prayers.

Good morning, I need to ask for prayers today. My great niece who was born Monday night has a heart defect and going onto surgery today. She has Transposition of the great Vessels. This means the aorta and the Pulmonary artery are transposed and need to be switched back. Her name is Murphy which was my DS last name. She has a sweet angel in heaven looking out for her. I love the quote and I have been to Ushuaia. It will be another scorcher today so I am off early to the store.

Good morning, It will be another scorcher here today along with an air quality alert. I don’t feel bad I can’t walk with the conditions we will have the next 3 days. I always pay for travel insurance and have used it 3 times for last minute cancellations. It has more than paid for itself and for any future premiums I pay. Fortunately the claims were paid quickly. Prayers for those on our care list especially @luvteaching as she navigates her way through the necessary tasks she must complete.

Good morning, it is a rough time for many of the guys associated with this wonderful thread. My prayers are with you all and your families as well. I hate to add my woes but I broke the baby toe on my other foot in the middle of the night Saturday. Luckily I am a pro at this and I taped it up and went back to bed. Happy birthday Carol and to those I missed this weekend. I hope your celebrations were fun. I need to work on forgiveness a bit. I still am unhappy with my sister who left on a month long vacation after my son died and missed everything. Looking back I realized our relationship was not a healthy one and need to decide how much to let it affect me. I will hold those in need in my prayers today.

I have sailed Celebrity 2 times in the past 12 months (Infinity and Edge) and HAL NS in May. I felt the food was better on HAL. The Lido was much better in NS than the Ocean View Cafe on Celebrity. There is tons of fish and seafood which I don’t and can’t eat so the choices on the menus for me were limited but I always found something in the Lido if needed.

Good morning, Fortunately I still feel good about my decision to sell the Mustang. My biggest fear was waking up regretting it. Now the challenge is figuring out the new car! So many bells and whistles. Ouch @ottahand7 ! Make sure to watch for infection. With the break in the nail bed and if there is a fracture in the bone it is considered an open fracture and chance for infection in the bone. I did not think my nail bed was involved but found out it was when it got infected. I hate to be part of the widows day but the let it go is definitely pertinent to being a widow. Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement. I was exhausted from all the decisions I made and I fell asleep this afternoon and woke up confused to if it was day or night. I have room darkening shades in the bedroom so it is easy to do. I feel at peace with my decision so I know it was the right one. @crusing along I know what you mean about the fast and furious on the Grand Australia roll call.
