Roy, I hope your tests are negative and you bounce back quickly. It sounds like they are looking for a blood clot. @Heartgrove good luck on injections and I hope DW illness is short. Good morning, We had snow overnight. The prediction was 5 to 8 inches and we got about 2 inches. DGS stayed the night and will be out in it when he gets up. He tried to slide down the driveway when it started and failed. I warned him it would not work but he is one of those that has to see for himself ( just like his father). The only update I have on Murphy is that she was on 25% breast milk and 75% elemental formula. They felt they were weaning her too fast on the CPAP so they slowed it down. She continues with therapy and working on her using her vocal cords. They predict at least a couple more months. Thanks for all the prayers. Have a great day!

Good morning, We had a nice dinner at DS and I have some yummy leftovers to enjoy today. Yuck for Sandi, I only know to well the misery. I hope you feel better soon. Annie I am sorry to hear you are still suffering with eating. Not sure what is on the agenda today. I think I need to make a list. I am beginning to panic a bit not being able to do much with my right hand. That should get better after the sutures are removed on Monday. Everyone have a great day.

Brrrr this morning, Molly finished her business in record time. I will be going over to DS for dinner today. He is cooking a ham since they had turkey yesterday. I am ok with anything and what the DGK’s will eat is always mystery. Lots of celebrations today along with Bon Voyages. Hugs Jacqui, it will be a sentimental day. @Cruising-alongThis morning I changed our San Diego hotel back to what I'd originally booked -- Wyndham Bayside. I see several of our Dailyites will be at that hotel too. I changed to the Wyndham too. I read bad reviews about noise etc, at Best Western. Getting excited too.

Good Thanksgiving morning, I hope everyone eats their fill in whatever they want. Molly and I will hang out and wait for DS to bring me goodies from his in-laws. I have been to today’s port on the Zuiderdam in 2018. It is a beautiful little town. I am thankful I have found this supportive thread. Everyone is so welcoming. I am especially thankful for Rich and the others who each day do their individual roles to keep it going. Sandi you keep us all in line and are a wonderful source of pictures. Good morning, I am feeling great this morning. I can remove then bandage and shower this afternoon. My DGS will be over this morning. He is out of school and his parents are swamped with work. DGD preschool is open which is good as I don’t think I can handle both. I have no plans for tomorrow. I have been invited to several places but not really wanting to go anywhere. DS and family will be at her folks for the day. DS will be cooking a meal for us on Friday. Happy Birthday @1ANGELCAT I am sad to hear that Vanessa is still in so much pain. Unfortunately it works better if you get the disc. They can get a copy of the report but much more difficult to get a disc from an outside source. It is not difficult and they can sometimes burn the disc while you wait. Just call the place where you had the scan and it will be no problem. My DD DH husband had to get discs all the time.

Good morning, My surgery went well. I am in minimal pain and exercising my finger as prescribed. No driving until later today so a friend is bringing me breakfast. My tummy was not quite right yesterday after my night of misery but after 2 liters of fluid during surgery I feel pretty good today. Thanks for all the well wishes. Good morning, I had a rough night with 3 hours of GI upset. I don’t know if is something I ate or a very quick virus. I feel better this morning and I am quickly washing the bedding and disinfecting high touch surfaces. I leave for my surgery at 11 and my son will be staying with me afterwards (they insisted). Hopefully later tonight I will feel alert enough and can send him home. Secretly I think he wants to watch the Chiefs game in peace at my house. I easily fit what I needed in the 2 luggage forward bags and I will probably add to them before the 14th. It is really getting close and I have both apprehension and excitement. I better go. Good early morning, I had trouble sleeping last night but I don't feel bad this morning. DGS has his 6th bday party with friends today. It is at one of those jumping places. DGD is to young and to small so we will hang out together. I have organized some of my squirrel piles and hope to get them in a suitcase later today or tomorrow. Have a great weekend.

Good morning, It is another beautiful day. It would be perfect if it was a bit less windy. Today’s quote is long and I like bits of it. I would enjoy today’s meal. I am off to meet with the estate lawyer for DS. I hope to be finishing with it today. I still have a state tax refund pending, but I will pay off his dad’s portion and wait for the refund for me. It still gets me upset when I think of him getting any money since he was the quintessential dead beat dad but I can’t fight the law. I have given up the search for missing travel items. Good morning, I received a picture last night from my DSIL of her holding Murphy for the first time since July right before her surgery. She was thrilled to hold her DGD! Murphy still has a way to go but making progress. My DD DS was a fantastic musician. I wish I could hug him today! I have my monthly lunch with friends and I am bringing dessert. I was supposed to meet with my financial planner but he woke up with sore throat and cough. No thanks, don’t need whatever that is. DGD feels ok when temp is down but back up to 103 before bedtime. Good morning, My day with DGD is off. She woke up with a fever. After the last bug they gave me where I coughed for 6 weeks I am steering clear. I know lots of gma’s babysit there sick DGK’s. I am not one of them. (Bad pediatrician!) The wedding was nice and I got to visit with old workmates. I really miss seeing them. It is amazing how fast people move on when you don’t work together anymore. I like the soup but no to the drinks. Having had pneumonia a few times more awareness is good. Good morning, I feel much better today. I ended up taking a 2 hour nap and rested the rest of the day. I must have had a 24 hour bug. I have a wedding to got to this afternoon and I am glad I do not need to cancel. I am happy to see the care list is a little shorter. I hope things turn around for everyone soon. Good morning, I am busy this week trying to find where all my travel items are. I had many hands helping me pack up my house after DS died so I could get moved on time. No surprise I can’t find what I want. My goal to get my luggage forward suitcases packed before the 20th is making me a little nervous. It may be that I am a little nervous going on the trip alone. Baby Murphy is making good progress. They have stopped the TPN and she is on full NG feeds. They have started some breast milk on a qtip for oral stimulation. DB is doing well too. Good morning, I have a breakfast date with a friend whose husband was just diagnosed with a rare disease. He has been sick for almost two years, lost almost 70 pounds and has been to multiple doctors. No cure but very expensive treatments ($100,000 out of pocket per year) that may or may not stop progression. So sad. Vanessa, maybe the SW will help get adaptive equipment for your home and help find other services you might be eligible for. I know my SW did that for my families. I love my retinol. I will find a bear to hug and I am well aware of cancer. I rarely eat chicken thighs but may try one of the recipes this weekend. Prayers to all and have a great day.

Good morning, It will be a nice day today with high at 73 degrees but turn cold at end of the week. I am lucky that Molly has already adjusted to the time change on her meals. I always run to look at the upscale lines to see the value when posters say they get great deals. They must be sailing in a different category of cabin than I do. I have cruised since 1991 and I am over the production shows so it is itinerary driven for me. I am sure I would get better food and service on an upscale line. I just don’t want to pay the price. It is great there are so many lines to choose from. My next two cruises are on HAL for itinerary and I have enjoyed past HAL cruises. I will continue to shop around to get to the places I want to go and pick which line works best for me. Happy cruising.
