  1. I thought that name was familiar. We did the cooking class at Playa Mia while on Carnival Valor probably10 years ago. It was a great time. Thank you very Michael
  2. On the ship I am on. Only 1 Princess cruise to date, Sapphire 2005, and 1 coming up in Oct Regal. Have sailed CCL x 4, RCL, X, HAL, Big Red Boat, & NCL (my least fav). All good times
  3. Looking at this excursion for Nov on Princess. It looks like it is at Dolphinaires a short taxi ride from the pier in Cozumel. Has any one done this one.
  4. They should have JW Blue, my personal fav. It is $200+ a bottle
  5. Back in 1988 my 2nd wife and I honeymooned in the Poconos and stayed in room just like this one. It was awesome. My 3rd and current wife honeymooned on the Sapphire Princess in 2005.
  6. I posted that exact clip in another thread about the premium desserts. One of my fav movie all time.
  7. Usually we have a pre-dinner drink or 2 before dinner. Ok just me, I am at the bar while wife is still getting ready. I almost always have a martini in hand going to the mdr. And order another when seated.
  8. And this why I have used my T/A for many years. I tell her what I am looking at on the deck plan of the ship I am looking at and she finds me a cabin at a great rate. She knows my parameters. Would never go GTY. I am picky about cabin location. And yes I will pay extra for better (aisle) airline seats, some hotel rooms, & concert tickets.
  9. We renewed our passports in Feb. at a local post office. They said 6-9 week turnover. It is now 8 weeks. We don't cruise to Oct/, so I think we are ok????
  10. We did a repo on X in 2015. It was Vancouver - Honolulu. 5 days at sea & 5 days around the islands. After there it was going to Aus. Was such fun. they do this twice a year in different directions. We are booked on a 12 day repo to So Carib in Oct from FLL to Galveston.
  11. There is a scene from the movie "Five Easy Pieces" with Jack Nicholson that shows this in real life, however very over the top.
  12. I grew up in Texas, have eaten many a What-A-Burger, I have had In -N- Out Burger's in LV. Guy's Burger's on CCL. I will take a What-A-Burger, with jalapenos, every time over the rest. Haven't one since they sold out since I live Iowa, but they were the best. Patrick Mahomes had enough pull to get one in KC.
  13. Interesting readings. We have not been cruising, let alone traveling, other than a few hours away, in over 5 years. Last scheduled cruise in 2019 was cancelled 2 days before departure. We are now going on 12 day So. Carib cruise in Oct, Our long time T/A put a fabulous package together for us. Not only did she get us a mid-ship mini-suite cabin on Aloha deck at balcony cost, she included Premier Plus as a free perk. That is $1440 perk. While the fitness classes and the premium deserts is joke, and I would rather have OBC, free is free. lol
  14. Yeah I got that and 2 fitness classes in the Premium pkg. Can we traded it for something useful like i don't know ... obc????? lol Oh well I got it (Premium Pkg) from TA as a free perk.
  15. We were lucky we got a great deal in 1st class on Delta from HON to ATL.
  16. Not perfect but pretty much fantabulous. Sept 2015, X Solstice Vancouver to Honolulu. Still have friends we keep in contact with and have sailed with again, that we met aboard this cruise.
  17. Thanks, she is looking at those. When we booked our T/A asked for a medication fridge and ex. cords.
  18. Thank you, We have been traveling with CPAPS for many years. If we travel with only a carry-on it is in a separate bag that TSA makes us open. If we check luggage it goes in it
  19. We are taking our 1st vacation and cruise in 5 years. Our last cruise in 11/2019 was cancelled 2 days before sailing. My wife is now insulin it needs to refrigerated/ kept cold. What TSA's and Airlines requirements? Plus we both CPAP'S which are a pain to travel with. Thanks, Mike PS Go Hawkeye Women's BB.
  20. We just renewed at a local post office here in Iowa, she said it is running 6-9 weeks. We haven't booked a cruise but it won't be until the fall. I think we should be good.
  21. Thanks for the review, we are looking at a similar itinerary for the fall.
  22. The op's husband is being stubborn, irrational, and also in denial. He needs to have sleep study done. My wife and I both snore, we finally had sleeps studies done. We both have sleep apnea. Both now have have cpaps and sleep better.
