Need advice and hints from anyone who sailed on Celebrity CC class cabin Fit thru door?  Where to store in cabin?  Close to plug in to charge?  Need advice from someone who actually had and experience.  Thank yoy.

Thanx.  Does anyone have an experience that would be helpful.  Actual experience are better than a clerk in Kansas reading from a formsheet.

We were  not able to get a handicap cabin.  We do have a Concierge Cabin on the Silhouette.  How wide

are the doors.  transportable scooter is 20" wide.  Will it fit thru door.  Where to store in cabin?  Where to

plug in to charge scooter.  Any help or tips would be appreciated.  Thank You.

It takes a lot of looking into.  For example I noticed all excursions were booked  many months  head of time.  Celebrity people were of no help.  Typically since LLP took over.  By accident I found a comments by the Pied Piper group.  Pursuing forward  I looked for cruise charters.  There I found several companies specializing in specific cruises, namely Atlantis, Pied Piers and Vayva.  Then going forward I found remarks by LLP of her intentions and ideas about cruising.  Put it altogether and draw your own conclusion.

Glad we cancelled  the June 8 cruise once we found out all excursions had been booked by two groups including the Pied Pipers.   From now we try find out what groups are sailing and avoid them.  Rather difficult with LLP setting the direction of Celebrity.

Don't worry LLP will find enough special interest groups to fill the Edge.  The  veteran cruisers are not spending enough money. eg. Special restaurants have lost appeal to us as the meals are not what they once were. . Nor the service.  Definitely not worth extra $100.  Read the promos and you can get the point.  Hopefully LLP will be gone soon taking her special groups with her.

Great idea.  We cancelled a cruise when we found out a large group had prearranged the excursions and cancelled our choices.   LLP is more concerned with the LBGT groups.  Looks like no more Celebrity for us after 10 years.

This is normal as upper management does want to see the true picture .  In my working years days were spent in preparation  for the CEO's 2 hour visit.

According to previous reports tendering in  Punta Cana is not to safe and have been cancelled.  Tortola has a pier that will accommodate 2 large ships.

Judging by the previous comments I doubt if Dong and Cindy would be comfortable on Oceana.  They do not appear to be well travelled or members of the country club set as the previous poster commented on Oceana cruisers.   Or is this another thread started to have controversy?

I have a 9 day cruise in Dec 2019  for the ABC islands on the Silhoutte booked for$4600.  Out of curiosity I looked at the

same itinerary  on the Edge for Nov 2019 and found the price to be $9004.  Same type of cabin CC and GO BEST on both.

The question is what do I get for the extra $4000?  Any answers?  Thank you.

Celebrity website shows no cruises in May 2019 for Equinox. I hope this not the case.

I have investigated and there is no charter per Celebrity One Touch. Explanation was given that TA can book. Also said inventory control is in charge of assigning cabins for what that means. Verified by booking. Will just wait it out.

Just found another poster (Mynki) that I can ignore along with two others that that offer zilch.

On our next we are in C2. Will X let us dine in Luminae? Who do I ask? LOL X is full of pikers who want the extras for lower price. Read want you paid for and be happy.

I'm sure Dong and Cindy would have some enlightening comments to go along with their food experiences.

Just a note to help Doug. Aqua class is not a Suite. Dining in Aqua is the Blu, not Lumina. Enjoy your burgers and diet drinks.

Am I wrong in thinking that every thread Dong and Cindy Scrape Hauler start becomes nothing more then a thread geared to start controversy. Some of his threads have been removed by the Mods. If he dislikes it so much maybe he should stay away. Although I do not think his comments will stop the people from sailing Celebrity. Maybe it is time to close or remove this thread.

Interesting as Dong and Cindy want to make changes while never sailed on Celebrity. Never had an issues with a can of soda. Guess some people are never happy.

Jelayne: Thank you for your comments. Someone from X is not be completely truthful. The cruise has verified this is not a charter and is completely booked. Yet another response is stating need to speak to a travel agent to book. I am confused. Is honesty no longer the best policy with X.

Indygirl: We are booked in Cabin 2107. I have tried to connect on the roll call but I get the response "not accepting new threads"..so cannot communicate with other cruisers. So it looks like you and us. Larry and Karen.
