Thank you all for your comments. I spoke with Captains Club and all they show bookings are thru travel agent and only suites available. I really do not want to be on a charter. Maybe as some have expressed is due to the revolution. Guess I will wait and see what happens. Really would like this cruise as will be our anniversary. Keeping fingers crossed.

Booked cruise months ago. Went to website to check a cabins available and got response no cabins available and sold out on another cruise website. Wonder what gives? Possible charter? Probably will investigate tomorrow. Any other ideas? I have paid the deposit and have a cabin #.

We are booked for May 25 2019. First cruise after refit. Will be interesting as to the changes being made along with the staff. Noticed on another thread CC were changed to Aqua Class. Over the years we have booked 2107 due to location and large veranda. Perhaps when the Mille is refit we will have an idea of other changes.

Good comments. Several years ago our cruise planner left. She was outstanding. Returned telephone and e-mails promptly. Now lucky if we get a call back the same day. One time in the middle of conversation said it was time to go home and would call back next day. I have e-mailed corporate several times with no response. The crew aboard ship are great and we continue to cruise X for the great service.

I agree. Probably an untrained staff is part of the problem. So maybe I misspoke. But 3 calls???

Just took advantage of $700 price drop on this cruise. Took 3 telephone call and an hour, but $700 is a good savings. Checked website and found the price change. First person from X could not find the price change. Second person made the correction but failed to send confirmation. I always have a copy of confirmation. Very hesitant to make adjustment. Quality of staff has deteriorated over the past several years. But maybe they are just following orders to increase profits.

Do sky suite cruisers have access to Lumina? Website shows different amenities. One shows access to Lumina the other shows it is not available. What is correct? Thank you for comments.

Maybe it is time to close this thread as Doug and Cindy just dwell on the same subject "food on X" with no cruise experience on X. Same subject with different heading.

Im just surprised that your MDR experience was wonderful. Not so for us on 2 cruises on Infinity in 2017. I just thought it was the Infinity until we sailed on the Eclipse that same year. Service on the Infinity was excellent. We had a wonderful waiter who did whatever he could for us. The food was awful. We managed the 15 days by sticking to what he recommended.
As for the Tuscan Grill, I am surprised by that as well. We have always had wonderful service and food.
Please describe awful food. Most of your posts contain lousy or awful food. I consider your posts less than credible unless specifics are given.

We have a 3 hour drive to Miami and opt to stay near airport to avoid Miami traffic. We stayed at Hilton Garden West near airport. Free parking for 11 days. Had a park and cruise package. Hotel staff very friendly. Price was right. Shuttle to port very efficient. Return to hotel after cruise was arranged thru hotel staff with another couple paid $25 per couple.Restaurant on premises was good for evening meal and breakfast. Area seemed to be safe. Would stay again.

Our travel companions were linked requesting table for 6 or 8. On board checked maître d and found wife and myself had table for 2. Linked couple had table for 12. Maitre d gave us table for 12 with 2 others. Finally went a manager Amir who gave us a table for 6 with a lovely couple. Maitre d was very aloof and could have careless about our request. Why id it take 3 tries to get it right?

Just returned from 11 day cruise.(May 14-25). Other than two minor items food was one of the best of our 13 cruises. The beef dishes were very good (tender cooked to our liking. Lamb was excellent. Lobster tail was larger than usual. Will not mention all items but crab cake had little filler was excellent as was the Thai spring roll and scallop appetizer. Our tablemates were new cruisers and veterans. How anyone would complain about non edible food I will never know. Dinner was a true joy with fellow cruisers and excellent wait staff.

Just returned from Equinox. Request table for 6 0r eight together our shipmates. Checked with dining manager we had table for 2 and cruising partners had table for 12. He changed table so we had a table for 12 in the dark (needed flashlight to read menu). Only 2 other people at table. Went Amir who we knew from previous cruise. He arranged for a table for 6 with a lovely couple the next 10 days and had a great time. Cruise info showed we were combined yet dining room did not follow instructions. Questions by didn,t X follow instructions taking 3 trys to get it right.

Just got off Equinox on 5-25-2018 best MDR food of our14 cruises. Beef very good as the lamb dishes. Lobster was larger then previous cruises. Crab cake was very good as well as the thai spring roll and scallop rockafeller (order 2). Our table mates also agreed. Hope this helps. I know tastes vary.
