Is that Rose from the Phillipines? Yes she is a delightful person. One of the best.

Having read some remarks by LLP it appears she is more interested social issues. Loyal cruisers mean nothing to corporate. New cruisers are wowed as cruisers from other lines try X. But after years with X the wow is no longer there. e.g. 3 shrimp, 3 apples, 1/2 deviled egg. Need I say more?

What happened? LLP!!!!

Also disappointed: Feeling the same after our Dec cruise. The quality of the cruise is no longer something to cheer about. Thinking our May cruise may be our last. Does LLP not see the situation. It seems many loyal cruisers are expressing their dissatisfaction.

If it is where I'm thinking, it is a good 30 minutes from the port and in a not so great area.

 

I would not because if you miss the shuttle and have to take a cab, it will run you $45.

 

Honestly, your best bet in Miami is to park at the port.

I would not worry too much about lobster in the MDR. About the size of a 16 count shrimp and certainly not good. Of course the lobster in Murano is not a much better. But what do you expect for $50 pp.

Got off ship Dec 18. MDR not on par with previous cruises. At our table for six entrees were sent back several times. Either uncooked or overcooked with no flavor. Prime rib and filet were very good. Martini Bar was a hoot. Cabin 2108 was in excellent condition. Staff continues to be helpful and very friendly except for Capt club hostess was not friendly and seemed to be bored with job.

We just got off the Silho yesterday. Of our 13 X cruises this was the worst. Most disappointing. MDR reached a new low. At our table for 6 not a night passed for food undercooked or over cooked. Some dishes were not hot. Wait staff was excellent and apologized for the food. Lobster was not good. Excursion staff knew little about the excursions. Could not answer questions, said would call back never did. Capt hostess very unfriendly. Not a smile or hello as we entered the Elite breakfast. Overall servers were outstanding. Mast grill burgers continue to be excellent. Tuscan grill was good but too much food and we skipped salad and soup. Cheese board and was outstanding with very good gorganzola. Split the 9 oz filet was very food. Martini bar continues to be a highlight. Cabin 2108 was in excellent shape with a good location midship and close to elevators.

Never again. Buses unable to handle handicapped people. No signage as where to wait shuttles. Had to walk to parking lot and stand for over an hour. Celebrity staff completely in the dark.

Just got off the Silho MDR was the worst ever. Uncooked items every night. Food with no flavor. I would think twice about booking the Silho. This was 13 cruise with X. In May on the Equinox MDR was excellent.

Algebralov: Thank you for your comments. Mine situation is similar. I can walk short distances and in all probability use my rollarter most of time. Just need help on 1st and last day.

Only need help on day one and have already made arrangements at the pier. Thank you for your reply.

I am not seeking sympathy. I have done homework. Just asked a simple question about boarding on 1st day and last day. Get up on the right side of bed.

I’ve found Celebrity very wheelchair friendly, a port that isn’t wont be no matter who you cruise with.

Any experience with wheelchair assistance when boarding or disembarking. Are the chairs difficult to push? All comments are appreciated.

Agree. Rossy and Rose are the best. On our May cruise of the Equinox the Hostess was no where to be found. Apparently the job has changed. Hopefully on our Dec Cruise on the Silho we will have a true hostess.

Thanks for the info. I figured $10-$15 for the tip. Any problems in exiting to go ashore? I have never been in this situation before. Any suggestions for someone in a wheelchair.

One can smell cigarette smoke on the odd side. WE were there in May 2017 on the Equinox. We prefer even cabins on 12. Location is great.

Any comments for tipping for pier assistance with wheel chair. Never used this feature as I just had back procedure and do not want to cancel cruise. Any other comments or ideas. Thank you for the info.
