  1. Hopefully it’ll be better now! May 2022 was a mess. Had 3 separate negative test but none came through in time, thanks CVS and rapid response test unavailable in our state. Long story had to go to airport in Jersey for $250 test for wife! Hotline not working on toll free number. $90 charge for other number. One couple were casual about it and didn’t get onboard. Double vaccinated and double boosted and negative 3 test prior and we came home from cruise with Covid-19! Remember being on jammed packed bus in Bermuda to horseshoe beach with our masks on others none. And then RCL is testing those not vaccinated for return to USA. Also heard 150 passengers onboard quarantine. Don’t know what the answer is but now going through Covid-19 is no picnic age over 65! And this rebound Covid-19 really stinks, worst than first go round!
  2. We enjoyed the Dawn like 4 times because it was out of Boston, easy to navigate. Epic not quite so much but fun too. Gem was great because of Jeff Hernandez our favorite activities staff guy wonderful! The Bliss was amazing, dedicated comedy venue! Mojitos bar for dancing nightly. Outstanding activities staff! Parties out back at h20! The wings in osheanon pub! NCL in general keeps us busy dancing and fun times! Can’t wait to next time! Recently went on RCL adventure and was decent but not enough activities too much karaoke!
  3. Wondering how many people didn’t get onboard because of Bermuda restoration issues! I sat with folks pre cruise out of Bayonne who were seasoned cruisers even was a booking agent and he was not through with procedures yet. Not stressed about it, I’m stressed out and making phone calls and everything. Finally I got approved in middle of the night! Never saw that guy or wife onboard a 9 night cruise! I’m sure there were others too! So we tested negative 3 separate times pre cruise! On way home from cruise my wife is sick and tested positive and got Pav medicine and week later me to! I’m still sick, rebound covid19 after pav medicine! 150 cases onboard quarantine I heard! Used to love Bermuda but put off by policy and we were crowded on a bus too! Many not wearing masks! The money folks are making off covid19 including these Bermuda registration stuff! How much money and very little regard for actual covid19 prevention!
  4. Great information and pictures! Seems like the ship was empty in pictures. Curious about activities like Zumba classes and yoga? This is why we’re considering a virgin voyage, we love to be active. Was there any live music and dancing opportunities? Thanks 🙏 namaste!
  5. Yes! One per person platinum! When home you’ll be finding little marking tags on your clothes! Sometimes it’s on next cruise you’ll find em!
  6. On the adventure in May my wife got covid19 started on driving home from cruise port, I followed a short time later. Fully vaccinated and double boosted. Funny thing is an fellow passenger told me her relative on shore told her she read that like 150 passengers on board were quarantine with covid19. Later that day we noticed tons more passengers wearing masks. Thanks for social media information. Also a few days before departure the cruise compass announced certain folks will be tested before returning to the USA! I thought everyone was vaccinated! Maybe a loophole. We tested negative 3 times prior to cruise for Bermuda forms. $40 per person multiple 2,400 passengers onboard $96 k to Bermuda
  7. How about dancing opportunities? My wife loves Zumba and line dancing, I practice yoga daily too! We love to eat well but gotta have the activities to burn it off. thanks 🙏
  8. Absolutely love your Posting! Sid! How about dancing opportunities! We love everything about Virgin but my wife loves Zumba and line dancing. Looking forward to the experience onboard soon this fall! Great reviews!
  9. We enjoyed Maho Beach and the planes ✈️ a few years ago. But last time it was washed out, cabbie showed us and took us to different beach. Cabbie said it’s often washed out an then it’s refilled. Anyone who has visited in earlier or in April or May 2022 enjoyed the full beach! Looking for reliable information for cruise in near future. Thanks 🙏
  10. We recently sailed to st Croix and found this wonderful place. Sandcastle resort. Facing land from the ship it’s to the right. $12 for 2 gets you a round trip ride to the front door. Greeted by the owner and a rum punch. For $10 each you get a chair and umbrella. Use of pool and spotless bathrooms. Snorkeling from shore to left facing ocean decent. A great way to spend the day. Buckets of beer. Restaurant on site. A nice quiet beach day. Walkable beach. Only an occasional pedlar of goods. We will return. The owners could not have been nicer. This is a great way for them to survive and wonderful for cruise passengers to enjoy a nice resort without breaking the bank.
