Thanks for the info! We are on the fence about transatlantic this December following Rome 11 day cruise. Love the dancing opportunities by spice H20 and usually go to sports court too! Lack of exercise is not allowed 🚫 for us with all the food and drinks. Great information.

We’re thinking about TAP Portuguese airlines on our own a few days early. As we were burnt through celebrity airfare a few years ago and another maybe RCL once too, canceled flights scrambling and even staying overnight on way home, fingers pointing and emergency phone number useless. Used tap airlines before and wonderful but doing at least 2 days prior

Fully vaccinated and double boosted here! Got off Adventure mid May and wife got sick covid19 on ride home and got paxlovid and recovered. I got covid19 shortly after and paxlovid recovered and rebound covid19 and still suffering long covid19 now. Supposedly 150 were quarantine onboard and not sure how many other passengers got covid19. It’s terrible and no joke if you get it!

Almost cruised transatlantic but the more I read about the class system onboard we backed out. Seems if you book room with rock star status you get more. Hopefully in the future we’ll get onboard. All the activities are what interest us. Many workouts opportunities. Sounds great if you get rock star room but they always sell out. Enjoy

Supposed to go in January 2022 but postponed. Finally in May enjoyed the Adventure to Bermuda and st Martin etc. tons of fun. Great fellow passengers. Wonderful staff onboard. Just a few issues like that Bermuda 🇧🇲 process and some not even getting onboard because of it. We’re fully vaccinated and double boosted and tested negative 3 times prior to boarding. Towards the end of the cruise someone said 150 were quarantine and suddenly lots of folks wearing masks. On driving home from Jersey my wife started showing covid19 symptoms and was sick and took paxlovid and recovery now fine. I followed with covid19 days later and took paxlovid felt better and then rebound covid19 and still suffering in August. Those who don’t suffer long covid19 are blessed 😇 us others are cursed! But it felt so good cruising again, and I used to look up cruises all the time now I’m looking up long covid19 care and seeing doctors and in long covid19 program. Just wondering how many other people too!

Be sure to bring vaccinations card with your passport! You never know if needed in ports. We are both fully vaccinated and double boosted but got covid19 onboard both took paxlovid medicine to recover and wife is fine but I’m 8 weeks into long covid19. But we all gotta live and enjoy life unfortunately I can’t cruise until I beat this thing.

Active and happy to be onboard so quantity is important to us not rich! Always out dancing and enjoying the activities. We book inside unless a real deal for balconies. I usually bid up and get lucky with a balcony. Maybe when I’m older and trying to spend the kids inheritance I’ll become a ocean balcony person but for now love getting in 20,000 steps or more dancing and activities. Keep moving! 🙏 Keep cruising more is more not less!

If a problem just get her coffees to go . I enjoy the cappuccino from DL. But many a cruise the coffee machine is broken. Recently on Adventure DL coffee machine was broken and the Diamond girl informed me just show your Diamond card at Starbucks for cappuccino, Bingo! I really enjoyed that. Don’t go breaking machines! But if broken ask?

I just got through with paxlovid medicine and I now have rebound covid19! Fully vaccinated and double boosted! Wife got covid19 on adventure May cruise. Tested negative 3 times prior to cruise. I was fine, distanced from wife she did paxlovid medicine and recovered totally. I’m still dealing with it and it’s July. From May to recovery and negative test to continue positive test again. Doctors now saying many rebound covid19 after paxlovid medicine is being seen everywhere. Heavy chest and fatigued not fun.

I’m pretty sure on adventure May Bermuda cruise quite a few onboard were unvaccinated! Because prior to returning to USA after 9 nights there was a notice of covid19 testing to return to home. For certain individuals! Separate issue was 150 onboard quarantine for covid19! Wife got covid19 and then me. Fully vaccinated and double boosted too! Towards the end of the cruise lots of folks wearing mask. Paxlovid medicine worked for wife but not for me! Long hauler covid19 here, it’s real! Cardiologist tested just today! Inhaler and lung specialist next. We all got to live but covid19 is no joke trust me! But I did enjoy the cruise and wonderful fellow passengers. Felt great going! 2,400 passengers instead of 3,400! Staff was outstanding.

Check out pigeon island for snorkeling from shore! Seems to be the spot excursions go to anyways. I’ve been multiple times via a cab. Excellent snorkeling from shore. Resteraunt and old time pirates type bar. Mountain to hike for view. Right next to a sandals resort with fence of course. Chairs to rent and real bathrooms too! Save your money!

Wife got covid19 on adventure May cruise! Driving home started feeling sick. Cancer survivor so she got paxlovid medicine and was better within a week. I got covid19 too, got the paxlovid medicine and felt great for a few days, and then rebound covid19 and still suffering! If I mess up writing it’s the fog upstairs from covid19. Fully vaccinated and double boosted! Tested 3 negative before cruise for Bermuda nonsense registration. Thinking I was free and clear! It’s a quagmire, also doctors in Boston just said paxlovid medicine useless for healthy fully vaccinated and double boosted folks!

What is the elite lounge like post covid19? Drinks, coffee machine, special breakfast area.. ? Recently on RCL and 4 drinks for Diamond is celebrity doing likewise? Looking into transatlantic on celebrity this fall vs RCL and Ncl and Virgin? Activities on Virgin seem outstanding as we’re gym rats on land too!

Inside cabin! Bid cheap on upgrade, just got balcony on RCL adventure. Get loyalty perks, Diamond on RCL, elite on celebrity, platinum on Ncl and elite on Princess. Okay we cruise a lot of different lines. Always ask questions, recently on RCL adventure the Diamond lounge coffee machine was out of order again, I asked Diamond concierge and she cheerfully said just show Diamond card at Starbucks for free cappuccino! So I’m chugging 4 or 5 a day free. Free laundry means packing less! Beat the bushes for priceless! Complain about service when necessary! Most importantly cruise often as you only get good health for so long!

Years ago we enjoyed the Spirit out of New York City a cruise of winter cruises. Very nice small ship and easy to navigate around. Great cruise activities staff too!

Tested negative 3 times prior to adventure May cruise for Bermuda registration. Fully vaccinated and double boosted. Wife came home from cruise with covid19 and had pav medicine recovered, I followed with covid19 even though I avoided her. Pav medicine too then recovered and negative test! Days later I got rebound covid19 and doctor said to ride it out, feeling worse than original covid19. tested positive now! I thought vacination and double boosted made me safe! Mid June now and a few weeks ago I was feeling fantastic now not so much! Don’t know what the answer is but we wear masks and exercise all the time and are healthy.

Activities staff are the key to all our great cruises! These guys are trying become CD! Loyal to RCL and Diamond and separate elite on celebrity but recently the NCL bliss and gem were outstanding with activities 20,000 steps and more a day dancing and dancing theme parties and fun. Back on adventure May RCL silent disco and karaoke every night, Boring! Ncl we loose weight from activities and eat too! RCL not so much!

Now after paxloid medicine having bounce back covid19 and it’s mid June! Covid19 is real and still a royal pain? Supposedly 150 quarantine onboard and some folks have been tested for returning to USA at cruise end, maybe not vaccinated folks with exemptions.
