  1. I know exactly how you feel. That is my situation too. He is finally coming around to the fact that gambling is how we get deals cruises.
  2. Oh ok, I never knew what they were called. I have had those delivered to our room when I was on a casino cruise. We are turning platinum this next time so I didn't want to miss out on anything. Thanks a bunch!
  3. Ok, so I have to ask. What the heck is chocolate delight?
  4. That is exactly what is about to happen to us on our next cruise. Finally going to Alaska! Grateful for the laundry assistance as I will need to pack heavier clothes for this one.
  5. My biggest win ever in my gambling history was on the carnival Imagination. It was $4,800. It was won playing $3 a spin on a $1 machine. Man, that was so fun!
  6. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. That helps a lot.
  7. So...I am a newbie. Can you tell me what to expect as far as offers for someone that is offered a free suite, drink package for 2 and sometimes a little play money? I also have an offer for a free balcony with everything mentioned before and more play money. Usually $1,000. Thanks so much! Just trying to figure out how this works.
  8. Thank you so much. So I need to pick the cruise I want and let them know first?
  9. I just signed up yesterday and I have sent them my offers. I have cruised only carnival for 10 cruises and currently have 2 more booked. Hitting Platinum as I board our next cruise to Alaska in May. I have never cruised another cruise line so I am wide open with their offers. We have been curious about trying Celebrity and this might be our chance to get a great deal. I always gamble on board and haven't paid full price for a cruise since after my first one. I usually allow to spend about $2,000 to $2,500 on a 7 day cruise. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, right? I used the gambling calculator on the urcomped website and it says I am worth $500 per day and that translates to $150 per day in comps. For those of you that have done this before me, what can I expect as far as a free room? Will it be a balcony like I am used to? Any other perks for someone like me? Free drinks? Free whatever? Also, on the website, it asks you to claim this deal and says "your host will tell you the price after you claim this deal" What if I claim it and the "deal" is more than I want to spend? How does that work? Thanks in advance.

  11. I have been hoping for the same thing but I think my sailing is sold out too. Celebration on March 5th.
  12. Ok! But first I have to get through the 3 cruises that I have booked on Carnival. Man, this owning my own business thing is really messing up my cruising schedule. I can't get away as much as I would like.
  13. There is a Facebook group for this cruise if you want to join over there. My first time to Alaska too.
  14. That is interesting. I have never cruised Royal, I wonder how my offers would compare on them vs Carnival. Carnival just keeps me coming back because of the good deals. I am not opposed to tying other lines at all.
  15. I can't answer your question either but I thought I would let you know that Amber Cove has a nice port area with a huge pool, swim up bar, water slides and a zip lining area that is only $20 for unlimited zip lining. They also have a sky bar with food and drinks. So if zip lining is on your radar, you don't even have to leave the port area.
  16. That is pretty cool that it's posted everywhere. Let's say you had a free ocean view but wanted a balcony. Can you pay a little bit more to upgrade?
  17. This is sort of how I feel as well. We have been on 10 carnival cruises (I think) the only one I ever paid full price for was the very first one. I played in the casino one night on that cruise and lost a chunk of change. At the end of the cruise I went to close my casino account down and I had a few credits so I played them and won $2,400. Since then, I have had offers for free interior that I can usually pay a little more to have a balcony. Actually, the biggest jackpot I ever won was on a cruise ship. My offers are better this year than in the past. I think it's still a post covid thing. I currently have 3 cruises booked on casino deals. Going on the Celebration in a couple of weeks and the Luminosa in May to Alaska. Both of those cruises are $1k or less all in, including pre paid gratuities and travel protection. Balcony for 2, drinks anywhere on the ship for me and my hubby, $200 OBC, and I think $200 play money. I Have one booked for next year on the Luminosa out of Brisbane, same price. If I remember correctly, this offer has more play money and drinks anywhere only for me. Yes, I gamble on every cruise. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. I think my losses have been lower than what Carnival has given me in offers. I also enjoy gambling so, if I lose a similar amount to what I saved with my offers, I am really not mad. I feel like I broke even and I had a good time.
  18. Ok, so we changed our minds. It was just too good of a deal from Carnival to pass up. We are booked on the Luminosa leaving May 11th out of Seattle. Now I have some homework to do..
  19. We love YTD. Like being able to choose when we want to eat. Super grateful that we have a couple of other included or semi included options for this cruise. I think it will be needed considering how many passengers are on board. Looking forward to trying Emeril's.
  20. Thanks for doing this. We will also be following your footsteps in March. Can't wait to keep on reading!
  21. You don't give a crap when talking about craps, hahahaha! That was cute!
