@Sunshine3601 Hi Sis! Can I ask which Embassy Suites in Tampa you stayed at before your cruise? Looking out for hotels for our October cruise on the Serenade. We may stay over night or drive the day of...it is technically a 2 hrs drive from home, but the I-4 traffic is absolutely horrendous sometimes and we have missed a few events in Tampa due to that.

Not a clue how far, but I think that Amber Cove is Carnival only (????). I put ??? because I could be confusing Amber Cove with Mahogany Bay in Roatan (sorry). I have read a lot of good things about Taino Bay and would love to visit. I also read sometime ago that the DR is in the works for getting 7 to 8 ports similar to Taino to bring more cruise ship business. I have not been to DR yet, but Celebrity is adding it to a lot of sailings, so I hope to some day. Are you looking at any sailings?

When we moved to Florida last spring, we are now paying for one Highlander what we used to pay for the Highlander, Camry and Corolla in NJ. Don't know why. Same insurance company. We will be looking around to check rates.

We are booked on Bella 2 and 3 as well.

I have bookmarked the 2026 Ascent sailing and will think about it. In order to get the group rate we have to take the beverage pkg and wifi included, which we do not need. We just need cruise only and no group rates for that. So will think about it closer to the time. It is still so far away!

Yes, frozen included, anything within that price (which I think is $10 or $12 for classic). Anything above, you pay the difference. Deck 3 ocean views have square windows. Deck 3 is very "convenient". But make sure you do not have the cabins where the magic carpet slides down. There are also oceanview cabins on higher decks at the very front of the ship.

@BillOh I just came across this review and it was great! I read that you have driven from Columbus Ohio to PC several times(?). What is the best way to do that? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Enjoy your cruise. I like the Bahamas! Have been there millions of times and it is OK even if we just take a walk around the port sometimes.

It is something you would have to experience and see what you feel about it. I like the infinites because I use it as a "panoramic ocean view" room. I never open/slide the balcony glass up and down since that does affect the AC. I use the "balcony" space as extra cabin space and keep the folding/doors open to feel more space but the balcony "window" always shut. We have had an aft balcony on the Edge, but I did not much care for it. Yes that was a "real" balcony, long, open but I found that there was no shade. The over hang was about 4 or 5 feet from the balcony door so if you are laying on the lounge chair backing your balcony door, you would not be in shade completely. No protection from rain. The lounge chair would get it no matter what position you put it in. Also found them a bit narrower than other class ships on X aft balconies. LONG walk to the aft balconies, but did not mind that (same for aft section port hole balconies). View of course cannot be beat.
