Jane, I wish you the best in getting everything sorted according to your timeline. Your quote was not too off. I want to share that yes, there are different lenses, brands, types, for example Alcon/Clareon PanOptix which are an example of the tri focal replacement lenses for full range vision, and prices are different for types of lenses, procedures etc. I have read of the lens costing $4200 per eye plus surgery cost (which may/partially may/ may not be covered by insurance). Many insurances will not cover Laser or the top of the line replacement lenses.

Check in your cruise planner. Most prices are based on the time of day, sea day/port day, sales, on board specials etc. Hence the different prices.

We are also in that halfway space! Got there one cruise at a time....booked insides first, then once in a balcony and never went back to inside. Did a CL suites once 7 nights...DH said do not get used to it.😁 No fast track, no tricks no treats.😁 LOL Also did other cruise lines we enjoyed. Hope your issues are resolving and you are feeling good.

OP, I understand how you feel. We had to cancel a couple very close to departure too. No Insurance. I will just wish you a very speedy recovery and all the very best.

From PC: December 2024 to April 2025 Celebrity Equinox. December 2025 to April 2026 Celebrity Apex. Short 7 day cruises, but sweet. These are on my cruise research radar. PC is our "homeport" ....hour and half away (sometimes faster) straight down 528 compared to Fort Lauderdale (3 hrs) and Miami (don't even talk about it!). Tampa is close, but i have missed a cruise from there stuck on I4....Thank goodness it was only the Yacht Starship dinner and bay cruise! 😛😛

😁I do not like the smell. But will put up with it when needed.
