Zacapa Old Fashioned is now over the premium limit at $19 a drink per a menu posted on another thread. There goes my favorite drink. No reds or whites I like on premium package either. I actually hope they come out with an "elevated" package to which we can upgrade before our Jan. 18 cruise. I know I could pay by the glass, but then there's the receipts to mess with. I'd rather pay more in advance.
Can anyone currently in Retreat on any X ship confirm or deny that drinks over the premium $17 limit are: 1. available in the Retreat Lounge and 2. If so, is the difference in price being charged?
Great. That's what I wanted to know. So I can still have a drink on my premium package. That's nice to know as all my favorite wines are not not covered on premium package. I wonder when X will begin offering a higher package for higher price?
That is very distressing. My husband typically walks 3 times a day on cruises. And not on the jogging track. Is there really NO open deck anywhere else on these ships?
Evidently, every red that we enjoy is now priced over the premium package, including Decoy, Conundrum, and Elegance cab. What is available at no upcharge please? I can't believe Elegance is over the premium price!
We don't do Petit Chef because all diners have to be finished with one course before the next will be served. I want my courses to come when I have finished one course and await the next...not when EVERYONE in the venue is ready for the next course. .
Amen! Keep them separate! If you like RCI's drinks policy better, then stick with RCI. We felt we "graduated" from RCI to X years ago. If I want the RCI experience, I'll book RCI.
So, if my current bookings all include the AI WITH gratuities, I won't lose my gratuities if I make a successful move up bid? I am being very wary of making any changes to current bookings so that I don't lose those gratuities.
Too late to edit my above response . If you only want the occasional Bailey's, no need for a drink package. It will be less expensive to pay by the drink as you have indicated you will do.
I agree. if you have no number for your reservation, you don't have a reservation for flights. You need to call FBC and get answers on this. I always get an e-mail confirmation with "Record Locator/Booking Reference" numbers. The number designated as "carrier" will be your reservation number. I have booked AA, United and mostly Delta with FBC and have always picked my seats prior to final payment.
I believe that you can get an exception on the drink package if you can get a doctor's verification that he can't drink alcohol for health reasons. You should call back and get information on this if you would like a drink package.
Has the 4 oz. filet returned to the children's menu, please? A few months ago it was replaced by a strip steak. But one or two people in Luminae on different ships have recently said the filet was back. What category suite are you in? Interested since you report good service from the "butler". BTW, glad to hear your strip steak was good.
