  1. Not everyone has the drinks package, so the Elite and above HH is a benefit still available to them in the form of a limited free drinks menu in any bar from 5-7 PM.
  2. I believe there are self serve soft serve machines at the Mast Grill on both M and S class ships. There is also soft serve behind the ice cream case on S class that is served by the attendant there.
  3. Are you doing a back to back? I see no reason to test when you debark otherwise. Testing in the terminal before boarding sounds like a nightmare. Equinox has been going out of FLL for months and to my knowledge on only one occasion, several months ago, testing prior to boarding was done...and I may be wrong about that.
  4. If this happens just cancel the package and rebook at sale prices.
  5. We were on board b2b in May and the Passport, Ensemble and Sky bars all had snacks. I believe the Craft Social did as well. You might have to ask. Just the usual salty mix.
  6. Jamie, would you verify that the Las Vegas bartender at WCB is named Isaiah, please? That is who was there May 6 and May 15.
  7. Is this cruise actually sailing out of LA or out of San Pedro?
  8. On the page where you print your Express Pass is a "document" file you can open. Page thru until you get to the luggage tag page, usually the last couple of pages. Then you can print those luggage tags.
  9. Are you doing a b2b? Is your pedicure with Iva ( pronounced Ava) ? She is from Serbia and this is her first ship contract.
  10. And Sushi on Five has lots of options other than Sushi.
  11. You are correct. It is covered under "Trip Interruption".
  12. If we test positive and are debarked from a back to back cruise, wouldn't the insurance cover costs of staying in a hotel until we could get a flight home? I assume we would have to get a statement from the doctor on board that we cannot travel due to health issues. This is embarking and debarking from a US port.
  13. I wonder why a ship in Amsterdam complies with CDC requirements. The Silhoutte out of Southhampton has apparently stopped b2b testing. And when did the policy fleetwide to stop testing b2b change? I have seen nothing about that. Also, since most ships ARE testing how does this fit in?
  14. Thanks to all for replies. Diva, at least you weren't tested today in the terminal.
  15. On our turnaround day from the May 6 to May 15 cruise they indeed DID test us in the terminal at Port Everglades, tho' we were told the day before that there would be no testing. I thought it was a ridiculous way to treat back2 back cruisers for several reasons. one of which you stated above. The other is we were tested then returned to the ship before results. So had we been positive, we would have already contaminated the ship Also, if they tested the day before anyone positive would have had that last day to make whatever arrangements were needed.
  16. Facial recognition is available at terminal 25 in Port Everglades. I don't believe at any other terminal there. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about that.
  17. When we debarked on May 21 from Equinox the Retreat Hostess told me that the current back to backs were not going to be tested. Can anyone advise if this is a fact or if they decided last minute to test in the terminal, please? For those currently on Equinox and doing back to back, what have you been advised about back to back testing, please? We go again in July and honestly I am not concerned about getting covid, but about being kicked off the ship after the first leg of my back to back.
  18. We love playing in the casino with "their" money! My husband took out $200 in OBC and actually cashed in over $550. Of course, he is usually a winner in the casino. Just lucky, I guess. I took out $100 OBC and came home with $154 cash. This was on Equinox debarking May 21. We play roulette.
  19. I believe you can cancel before final payment and transfer your FCC to any cruise that is before your FCC expiration date. Good that they moved those to up to 1 year from the original sail date.
  20. I might remind card players that there is a card room on deck 7 of S class ships. The gelato starts at $4.50 for two scoops I believe. The free ice cream in Ocean View Cafe is excellent.
  21. Don't know about MDR. Assigned boarding times are enforced. This makes the process go much more quickly and smoothly. This is our experience at Port Everglades twice in the past 6 months. Suite and Zenith can board at will.
  22. It was on the receipt. I guess no more cash extra tipping for us. Apparently I missed the notification of the increase. Really no biggie. We always have lots of nonrefundable OBC.
  23. Made on the ship during cruise. There were no discounts available for any night or time I was told when I booked. That is a first for me! I have always gotten a minimum of 20% off when I asked for a discount on previous cruises since 2017.
