  1. Venezia cruise Thanksgiving week is actually a 12 day Cruise from the Sunday before Thanksgiving to the 2nd Friday after Thanksgiving. I wouldn't think there would be many kids on this 12 day cruise. I am on it, so we will see 🙂
  2. FYI, you can pre-purchase and use the on board credit towards it.
  3. 100% sure as that what is on the booking confirmation email and if you look at the 9/28/25 Pride itinerary, it has 7-1
  4. Way overpriced for me, especially since we are only there from 7am - 1pm!!!!
  5. Is there a projected date for when it will be completed? I'm going there in Sept 2025 and curious if it would be done by then.
  6. On the booking order invoice details, does the PREPAID GRATUITIES appear all the way to the right in the invoice column? Maybe you added them when you first booked and forgot? Just a thought.
  7. You can log out before you logon to the second devise but do not have to. When you try to log onto a second device it will prompt you that are already logged onto a device and "click here to log out of that device and onto this device". After you click here, it will log you onto the second device. You can also sign into as many devices as you want, only one at a time. You would use your folio # to sign in since you purchased it.
  8. @Riles34 So glad it worked out for you, have a great short getaway and ignore all the negative comments, life is too short.
  9. Are there adjoining rooms left? If possible have your wide book the adjoining room. It would give you that much more room plus an extra bathroom 🙂
  10. @Riles34 We tried to book a 2 person suite with a 10 month old. Carnival was adamant that they cannot do that. We had to book a 3 person room. Good luck, maybe you will get someone at Carnival to allow you to do this
  11. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but also curious if Spa services purchased prior to the cruise include gratuity, or does that get added onto Sign and Sail when on the ship. Anyone know? Thanks
  12. Would it hurt to print the boarding pass for the 2nd leg, just for peace of mind if nothing else?
  13. My order 95% of the time: BEEF CARPACCIO BAKED ONION SOUP (Not bad, but is better in Dining room IMO) USDA PRIME COWBOY STEAK Yukon Gold Mash APPLE TARTE TATIN
  14. I believe air tags need an Iphone nearby to get it's location, does your son have an Iphone? If he does, you can use find my Iphone instead of the air tag. If not, you are at the mercy of someone having an Iphone turned on nearby that is not in airplane mode or has a wifi package for the location to be updated. Also, I would think you would need an internet package unless you are willing to spend money on data usage (which can get expensive since air tags are constantly looking to update location) Also, if it does work, it may show you approx location on the ship (Aft, Mid Forward) but it would not show you on which floor he is on
  15. I have never had a massage in my life (I am 62) but a few weeks ago on the Vista I tried the Bamboo Massage. I highly recommend it!! It was great, I liked it so much I scheduled the hot stone massage for later in the week just to compare it, also loved it. Loved them so much, I already booked both for my cruise in November!! If I were to favor one over the other, I would favor the Bamboo massage, although both are great.
  16. Just to update, daughter was a no show and was reimbursed port fees and excursions booked. No one mentioned anything, and only “penalty” was lost fare for her booking, which was expected.
  17. Just got back yesterday. Most of the food was good to very good. A few stand outs in my eyes: Crab and Scrimp Cake Jambalaya Pasta Frog Legs Braised Beef Brisket Baked Alaska
  18. You have no one to blame but yourself, move on. Life lesson learned.
  19. You can also get small magnetic hooks from amazon and run it up the wall, across the ceiling, and then back down the wall. I do this with my Cpap, easy to do and never in the way.
  20. @kdr69 I hear ya Kdr, just like on these board, you can get 5 different answers but that also does not make any of them right. I was just asking for suggestions to see all my options when I posted. I've decided to gamble and have daughter be a no show. If it needs to be repriced when I board and I have to pay the additional fare so be it. Btw, my other daughter had the same offer when this cruise was booked 2 years ago. It was not tied to any special code, just reduced deposits if booked by X date. Hoping what happened to starstruck05's brother happens to me. I will report back when I return in case anyone is interested in what happened.
  21. @jxtgreek For what it's worth, I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I have 3 rooms booked for an April cruise, 2 adults in each room. One of my daughters can no longer go and she is the primary on the booking for one of the rooms along with another daughter. I posted earlier on this site for suggestions about if she should just be a no show or what alternatives I had and received many good suggestions. I called Carnival and was going to try and switch the names so the daughter that is going would be the first on the booking, and if that didn’t work, possibly rebook the room. The Carnival representative told me that to switch the names she would have to do a rebooking and in would be $2,200 more that I would owe. She then said to just have my daughter be a now show since my other daughter is also a VIFP member (not sure what that has to do with it) and all I would lose is the fare I currently paid for her since I am past final payment date and I would get the port charges refunded to original form of payment, they would not rebook the room because she was a no show. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes, and it just makes economical sense for her to be a no show and I would save $2,200, plus the port fees.
  22. It wasn't a Casino rate, it was one of those VIFP offers and there was no Special Rate Code tagged to the offer. The only blurb I see in the confirmation email is the below. Offer is valid for guests with a qualifying VIFP # only. Non-ref dep amounts: 2-9 day- $50pp. MD/CB/JB- $99pp. 10+ day/EU- $199pp. Deposits apply to sailings outside of final payment date and are valid for all ships/staterooms. Offer is capacity controlled and is not combinable with any other discount/promotion. Offer is applicable for 1st/2nd guests only, 3rd/4th/5th guests are responsible for prevailing rates. Cruise fare does not include Taxes/Fees/Port Expenses. Available for cabin assignment only. Guest may select stateroom but category restrictions/exclusions apply. Carnival reserves the right to withdraw and/or change offer at any time without notice. Carnival reserves the right to assess a change fee based on request date, cruise length, and requested cruise sail date. Cancellation penalties apply. Offer not available for group bookings. Offer is available to new bookings only. Offer is available on select sailings through August 2024. Offer ends 4/2/22
  23. Thanks for the reply, that is how I am leaning, just be a no show
