We’re up in Turtle Bay now for September. Love it up here. There’s the resort but there’s also a ton of condos on the golf course that will be a lot cheaper.
Looking at the website it doesn’t appear they’ve learnt anything about the size of the Royal class balconies. Ship looks great but we’re not interested in a shoebox for a deck.
Facebook has announced the reveal date.
You're invited! Fall in love with our next generation of ships at the name reveal for our newest (and biggest) one this Thursday, September 15 at 2:45pm PST!
Thanks for the wonderful review. We’re doing a land trip in April starting with a week in Hawaii. One night at the Hilton Tahiti and six at the Hilton Moorea. Can’t wait.
Thanks Jan. I was able to download it to iBooks as a PDF so I’m good. Question for you though…do the segments of grand voyages go on sale at the same time as the whole voyage or do they come out later like the world cruise? Thanks.
I just read the fine print at the online agency. It appears to have been pulled until they get a revised itinerary
Please Note: In light of recent events, Xxxxxxxxx expects this itinerary to be modified to exclude Ukraine. Xxxxxxxxx will update the itinerary as soon as the revised itinerary is announced and we are not taking new bookings for the itinerary as currently shown.
Hi, curious. They’re no longer on Royal’s site and gone from some online agencies but not all. Is this because of all the expected port changes because of Russia? Any insight?
thanks.
I’m not sure you would eventually pay more. In Canada servers are paid the same minimum wage as other people, or very slightly less. Around $14-$15. Our restaurant prices aren’t out of line with yours.
Luckily we have a guy we’ve rented from for over 10 years but I hear you. Prices are nuts. By the time I get back it might not have been cheaper than a 1A 😂
Depends where you go. We’ve done australia three times and tipping is not much. We’re currently looking at an extended NZ and AU trip. Tipping is not prevalent in either country.
We leave next week for a month in Hawaii. We have a condo so will only be tipping if we go out at night. I understand specialty restaurants at Celebrity also now add in 18%? Not everywhere in the world has the US tipping culture.
$41.49 a day Canadian sure adds up. They deserve it but it’s always factored into land trip cruise calculations for us. Check mark in the land trip column for this one.
