  1. What happens during Martini Hour? Specials? Is this happy hour?
  2. If you don’t want to fly, check out HAL. Lots of South Pacific cruises return San Diego.
  3. You should be able to delete the landing info and it holds all the vaccine data.
  4. There are exceptions to this. There’s an exception for all cruises leaving from LA for some reason. Do your homework for your cruise.
  5. Could be Bracciano or Ceri. They’re often combined on an excursion.
  6. I was going to ask the same question about making changes. Their system is pretty bad. I have no idea what type of fare they’ve booked, can’t search for alternatives. Don’t believe it includes a checked bag which is showing as possibly $70 each way 🤬. At this point I’m ready to give up and do it myself. Currently using HAL’s flights too for April and it’s a 1000x better.
  7. I have 4148 booked for both of my booked HAL cruises.
  8. I’m thinking an Uber can’t be that expensive between the two spots? In San Pedro the CP is sold out and Double Tree is close to $400 Cdn. I can use points at Marriott/Westin. Thoughts?
  9. Going to resurrect this thread. Does anyone know where you can find the wines included? Picture is showing Opus but I’m assuming that’s in a tasting if at all thanks.
  10. We’re not naysayers. It’s an illegal cruise and will likely come with a fine that HAL will eat. We’re very happy for the OP. But make no mistake. It violates the PVSA.
  11. Did you pick the deposit only option when you paid? There were two buttons, pay in full and pay deposit only.
  12. I know what downlining is but you still couldn’t do it if it violated the PVSA. Possibly HAL is eating the fine. Interestingly as of 2021 RCL has banned all downlining.
  13. Victoria is irrelevant. It’s only useful on a closed loop cruise. Juneau to Seattle needs a foreign DISTANT port.
  14. Correct. Ricotta is an Americanized version. True lasagna is bechamel https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/WPcap/2000-02/16/001r-021600-idx.html
  15. All the laws around the PVSA exception ended when Canada started to allow cruise ships. It was not extended to my knowledge.
  16. Assuming it’s a Seattle return cruise, no you can’t. That would violate the PVSA.
  17. Thanks. We booked one of the freebies to the Mexican Riviera. I’ll see what Black Friday brings to any drink package sale. It’s been a while since we’ve sailed without a drink package 😂
  18. Select get a 10% discount on drink packages? I did not know that.
  19. If you’re still interested this cruise is on the $1 deposit list special.
  20. I ended up calling on Saturday and got a date booked. I just received a confirmation from the form I submitted so now we have 2 bookings. I’ll cancel this second one. But if you submitted a form, they’re still processing them.
