I looked at that option! One reason I switched it from Dallas to Philly I figured we can either drive or get on a train!

That was part of what I wondered is how when you miss the cruise what is the process if you have to catch up to the cruise at another port?

cangelmd we have friends we have traveled with over the years and they live in a small town San Luis Obispo in Ca. and there trip are always so much longer and usually filled with some sort of travel drama! davekathy you are on our cruise Sept.21 to Canada !! look forward to meeting you both!! We just paid off today!! Also just realized that our 6 am flight is now leaving 20 min later so our 2 hour connection just got shorter!!

I missed my edit ! sidetracked !! Then from Philly to Boston so if for some reason our connection doesn't work we will be on the East Coast instead of Dallas!!

I am just curious with all of the flight cancellations lately has anyone missed their cruise?? our last cruise in 2019 we almost got stuck in Dallas because a lightning storm came in! We had a 3 hour layover to give us extra time in case our flight was late but then had to watch the storm move in !! After sitting on the tarmac for a half an hour the flight attendant said we are getting out of here!!Yay With all the cancels we are not taking any chances with our Canada cruise in Sept. and we booked 2 nights in Boston before the cruise and have us going from San Diego to Philly !!

I feel the same also ! I think some parents who are on vacation just tune out there kids ! The kids probably would be much happier and have more fun on a Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise with more activities for them .We usually book when kids are back in school or a longer cruise in hope of a quieter cruise!

We were just in Puerto Vallarta and a lot of restaurants and bars were out of Corona light and Modelo we did not complain knowing they are having a hard time keeping there own Mexican beers in stock.We just say give me an "or similar ". You never know you might find a new favorite!! It has been our favorite saying these days.We are so excited about our Sept. cruise that we don't mind not getting exactly what we want !! we will be happy with the "or similar "

I canceled my hop on and off bus on my Canada cruise and I will rebook it hopefully that’s OK to get the extra Points?

I just had a whale watching tour out of Bar Harbor Maine cancelled two days ago for Sept??

I will check out and see what is out there !Maybe someone has had good luck with one I don't want to take up valuable luggage space if it won't help!

I am a bit worried about not having a grab bar in my SS on my Sept . cruise on the Summit.Our last cruise was in a SS on the Equinox in Oct 2019 and did not get the full refurbish . At first I was disappointed that it was not fully refurbished but now realized how much I loved the old look and feel. The shower was a little bit difficult to get in and out of but it did have the bar. With out one I am a bit worried since I have been having knee problems.I may look into a grab bar to take !! Has anyone found and used one that they liked ??

I have battery operated one that is motion censored so it comes on when I walk into bathroom that I will bring on my next cruise.
