We will also bring the maximum of four bottles on board with us. We are doing a comped cruise both March and April of next year. The first one we’re going to get the premium package because we are going with friends the second one we’re going to see how we do without a package for the first time!! We are curious how inexpensive we can get the cruise and having just turned elite plus we’re going to take full advantage of all of the perks!!

We booked a free cruise with blue chip club and will be the first cruise with out the beverage package. We are elite plus now so we are not going to get the bev. package and see how we can take advantage of beverages in Tuscan breakfast and happy hour and just purchase a few through out the day .

I just got off the phone with the second Celebrity representative and they said they’re no longer doing down line debarkation. it was a fun idea the cruise was cheaper with the blue chip club(free plus tax ) then flights down to Puerto Vallarta!!

I’ve been searching for this answer and it seems to be with the permission of the cruise line they will let you leave a Cruise early. Our situation is we’re going to go down to Mexico from LA and we would like to get off the cruise ship in Puerto Vallarta and stay for another couple weeks. I just got off the phone with someone from the blue chip club and he checked into it and said we could not. I am just asking here to see if anybody has done that before and if it is a possibility before I follow through with the booking. thanks

We were also on the same cruise as you were and ended up spending the last four days in our cabin with Covid. I took a lot of cold medication and hoped that would feel better next morning but did not so we self-reported and both tested positive. We are fortunate it was mild but glad we made the decision that we did .Not only to not get others sick but to get reimbursed for the last four days. My husband felt better after two days I feel better by the time we disembarked . We are both fortunate to only have a cough for a couple days while we were in quarantine but very tired for two weeks.

We were on day 5 so we had to wait to get escorted off the ship .They said between 8:30 -9 and finally after 10am someone finally showed up. We thought they forgot us as there was no one in the hallways whatsoever!! We then went down to deck 2 to get off the ship and they couldn’t locate our passports . There was probably about 20 plus people standing in the hallway for over a half hour waiting to locate them .I was pretty calm and they were a couple people that will really getting pissed!! It was finally about 11 AM when we got into the shuttle to go to our hotel!!

We were also quarantined on the same cruise.I am also curious how the money will be refunded we put our cruise on 2 credit cards.And really want the 4 night refund on a certain card.I called my TA and he said he would take care. Wasn’t the disembarking off the ship a mess !!!

That is great information I am assuming that you need to call the BCC line to get that discount?

We are doing the Mexican Riviera next March and we payed $20 a day per person to upgrade to aqua class. $10 per day per person for concierge.

I’m sure they would drop you off close to the Malecon downtown Puerto Vallarta it’s about 12 blocks right on the water with walking traffic only and lots of shops and restaurants! if you’re going it’s definitely a must see . depending on the traffic the shuttle shouldn’t be more than 10 minutes and the taxi or Uber back would probably cost you about five dollars.

We just got off the summit last week and end up having Covid the last five days. We quarantined in our cabin. They gave us a bag that contained cough drops NyQuil and a thermometer and fingertip pulse oximeter. We are hoping to get a refund back soon for the five days in quarantine. I believe our cruise was the last cruise that offered the cruise with the confidence clause ?

I just caught up reading your report I enjoyed following along also and your pictures. We are on the summit right now out to sea and I just ordered room service for lunch didn’t feel like going to the restaurant! hopefully people don’t think that we have Covid!! I hope you make your connection it is never fun traveling home !!

Well we just use them on Tuesday and hope they did not take our CC info !! I will need to check our accounts.

I thought that was what was happening!! I loved playing a little bingo on a cruise!!

We loved the sail into Montenegro ! But we were on Azmara in 2010 and we were the only ship there.I believe it was before the large ship started sailing and tendering people in un.I could not imagine 3 cruise ships there it is a small town. We hiked to the top of the hill and back down!! Great memories!!

Happy Anniversary!! We will be celebrating our 20 th Anniversary 2 years late this Saturday! Watching the news Fiona is supposed to hit Nova Scotia on Saturday so I’m assuming our plans might be changing!! We are hoping for the best !! We just took our Covid test an hour ago and we are negative! The irony is if they fully change our cruise because of the storm it might’ve been better off testing positive now and not get on LOL !

We are on our flight right now on the way to Boston and I decided to mask up at the airport just to try to be somewhat safe!! Sorry that your husband got Covid ! I hope he has only mild symptoms !

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling sick but glad that you are not in need of going to a hospital. We will be boarding the Summit when you disembark. Also sailing in a sky suite! We will be as safe as we can ! Come back and let us know how you’re doing and what kind of service that you receive being in quarantine. I am glad they let you stay in your room together!
