Furthermore, you can change your flight online through EZAir website however, you first must cancel your flight and rebook. The price will also change. You have up to 45 days to do this. Princess provide the booking confirmation number when book your flight. Refer to your Princess online account.

I know.  I got a good price by booking early, Princess should pay when the cruise is fully paid!  I have no problem accessing my flight info.  The 45 days are useless - unless Princess pays for the flight before the 45 day deadline - they wouldn’t!   I could have changed my flight then.  And my flight is in 37 days.  I cannot change thru EZAir online UNLESS I have an AA ticket number!!

There is no ticket number. Refer to your airline confirmation number.  Seat selection are done by the airline, not by Princess. Flight cancellation and flight changes  are done by Princess.

I should be able to select my seat if I can access my booking - thru my ticket number.  Princess is supposed to issue my ticket according to AA.

    Save yourself the phone call.

Airline tickets no longer physically exist.

Instead of a physical ticket, you will have a boarding pass that you can print out the day before your flight or at the airport.

If AA has been paid, then your ticket number would be available on the AA web site or via phone to AA.

I did an online chat with AAAdvantage last night and was told that my flight had been paid for and that Princess would have to ticket me.  I want to change my seat back to my original selection .  And, will try to change my return flight.  I have to have a ticket number!  Am on hold now for EZAir, which will take at least an hour…

  4. I agree EZAir and Princess air reps are both nightmares!
After reading all the above posts I got on a chat with AA to see when they will ticket my flights.  They said the ‘travel agency” (Princess??) should issue my ticket!  Princess told me that AA had been paid.  AA confirmed that they have been paid.  I’ll call Princess in the morning and demand my ticket!  I’d like to try to get the seat back that I asked for last July!  I’d also like to change my return flight which I’ve been trying to do since before the 45 day deadline…

Not the case in the past.

Maybe the rep you spoke with was confused and thought you wanted to rebook flights.

I found that online.  I was never able to speak to an actual EZAir rep - and that was why I was so frustrated.

Yeah, I am.  It  finds something because it shows all three of us and our traveler info.  It just throws that "no active flight segments" error.  I think the confirmation on Princess might be wrong because I feel like that's the old, round trip confirmation number.  I thought forcing them to ticket it might clear everything up, but I'm still nervous about doing that.  I feel like I've been trying to go on this cruise forever and something could still go wrong that would force a cancellation.

I looked into ticketing early and was told it was subject to today’s prices…

  7. Thanks everyone for your replies.  We were never able to speak to an agent who was able to make changes!  I tried 10 or 12 times!  They wouldn’t transfer me to the EZAir agent.  Since we’re so close to the 45 day cutoff, my son cancelled his booking and rebooked with another airline.  I hope my flights remain intact. I’ll be checking daily to see if Princess releases my funds for my ticket.  Who knows when we’ll get a refund for my son’s ticket 🙄

You are not able to make changes on-line?

I’m afraid to.  One agent said it would trigger today’s prices - $1,000 or more per person.  We have premium economy booked and paid for.

  9. Does anyone know when Princess actually pays the airline for our plane tickets?  We’re 50 days out from our cruise - 47 days out from our flight to the port city.   I need to make flight changes which have to be done prior to 45 days out.  I’ve called numerous times over the past several weeks and have spent hours on hold.  I have been cutoff many times.  Some “agents” have tried to help, some have out and out lied to me by telling me there were no flights from point A to point B, one even told me that Princess Insurance would cover any change fees…  I have sent a registered letter to Santa Clarita (no response).  I booked flights as soon as they opened so I could choose desired seats.  And got good prices.  I don’t want to cancel and rebook and have to pay today’s rates.  I paid for everything  before due date.  I made a big mistake using EZAir!!!

  10. This issue needs to be on page 1.  I was amazed to read here that some had waited up to 5 hours to speak to someone!  I’m on hold for EZAir for the third time today.  I gave up after being on hold for 15 minutes (I think the “representative” was at her home in a foreign country).  I was on hold for an hour the second time.  Am now trying again.  I called on Friday, the representative told me that a flight had been changed to a day before what the airline showed, he was not an EZAir agent…. I’m afraid to try to make changes online as I’m afraid of losing the good price I got originally.  I paid in full in February for my June cruise just so I could be sure to get the airline seats I wanted - Princess won’t pay the airline until 45 days before the cruise; changes can’t be made after 45 days - makes no sense.  HELP ME NOW, PRINCESS, PLEASE!

  11. I booked June 22 cruise and EZAir for my son and me many months ago.  I’m 87 and he is my traveling companion. AA has changed our flight - and seats!  I can’t get our seats back until Princess releases our money (we’re all paid up).  It’s frustrating having to wait.  AA had us on different transatlantic flights and after nearly three hours on the phone with Princess, they got us BACK on the same flight.  Princess has meanwhile sent me two notifications showing still us on different flights.  I can access our bookings with AA and they show us on the same flight but I can’t  make seat changes yet.  A blind booking shows our original seats are taken - I hope they have our names on them!

I hope they keep our original prices as they are considerably less than today’s prices.

Well that's true if the proposal is partisan. The current minority party has been known as pro-business so there may be some votes to be obtained on that side as getting the ships moving into American ports is good for American business.

The two GOP Senators would vote for it I assume.

  13. My son and I are booked 09/17/21 on the Ovation - Vancouver to HI.  Just read on the roll call that it's not showing up for new bookings.  I haven't heard from Royal Caribbean but will call them in the morning.  We were booked on the same cruise in 2020 - cancelled.  We chose this trip because it  ends in HI and we planned to visit my grandson who lives in Kona and friends who live on Oahu.

My late husband and I cruised to HI 4 times in the past - we always went in the Spring on a RT from CA.  It was always very cool the first few days with very rough seas on the way out and back to CA.  I suggest that you have a light weight jacket or sweater and at least 2 pairs of long pants - especially for traveling from Vancouver in September or October.

  14. I booked a cruise for this summer but had to cancel a week or so later.  I booked two cabins for my group of six, 3 per room .  I paid the deposit of $250 for each of us.  My problem is that  they are giving FCC ($250 each) to the individuals whose names I booked. The group was my son, my granddaughter and her husband and my two great grandsons (1 great grandson in each cabin) and I. So o, now my granddaughter and her family get 4 FCCs and my son and I each get one.  Not fair!  I used my credit card for all of us!  Both my granddaughter and I have spoken to RC and they said, basically, too bad!  Now I’ve lost $1,000 as my granddaughter and her family may never cruise again!  I’ve already lost the cost of my airline ticket when last year’s cruise was cancelled.  I may get to use my FCC on another cruise I’d already booked for my son and I...

  15. We’re booked on AK cruise on Majestic 6/27-7/4. We’re a party of 6. One member got his first dose this week, he’s a teacher in AZ.  I’ve got an appointment for first dose on 1/23 (age and rheumatoid arthritis risk).  One member is a college professor who should get hers soon.  Another adult is just waiting to hear,  the other two in the group are ages 9 and 12.  I’ve heard that they’re only giving them to children over 16 or 18 - depending on brand.

Two of us are also booked on September cruise to HI on RCI, a repositioning cruise that we’d booked for 2020...

It’s always nice to have something to look forward to - especially cruising!

Thank you!  I've eaten at Crown Grill several times but hadn't tried any other specialty restaurants.  The Harmony looks great, but will be traveling with family group (6) and I'll have to see where everyone else wants to go.  It's hard to beat a filet with béarnaise sauce!

I don't recall Ukulele lessons but they have did someone on board who did a series of enrichment talks about the state on most sea days.
