No, he's well past 18 😉

My son and I are sharing a room on Ovation in Sept. I am Diamond - he isn't. When I booked, by phone with Royal I was told he would also be Diamond on this trip. I hadn't asked...

So happy to have found this, my son and I are booked on the 2020 cruise. I’ve done the round trip to HI 4 times but it’s the first for my son. I have old AF friends near Honolulu and my grandson lives in Kona. I’m making notes of your (and others) recommendations. Beautiful, beautiful pictures, thanks.

From google: Copenhagen taxis accept all majorcredit cards. If you wish to pay withcredit card - let the driver know up front so he can sweep your card at the beginning of the ride. That is the custom. In Copenhagen you can hail ataxi anywhere on the street.
Thank you!

We'll be in Copenhagen for the 7/15 Baltic Cruise. I don't mind getting a taxi from the airport to our hotel - and another one next day to the ship. I have a question: Can you pay for the taxi with a credit card?

Thanks all for all your comments. I started this thread because I’d gotten a sales pitch from Princess about the $19+ per day for coffee, tea, sodas, orange juice, etc. and just wanted to know if the coffee only card was still available. I have several punches left on my last card and had already heard that it was still good until August. My son had planned to buy a card. Were sailing on the Regal in mid July.

Thank you all for your comments. Today I received my Nova adjustable cane with seat. I’m sure it will be wonderful for my Baltic cruise next month.

I use one called "flip stick". It is great & folds up into a nice little case for packing.
I ordered one of those but sent it back - too unsteady for me. Thanks tho for the recommendation.

Is it still possible to get a coffee only package? If so, how much are they?
-
Thank you for all that info! I ordered on from Amazon last night and will have plenty of time to test it.

I will be on a Baltic cruise this summer. I have no trouble walking though I do use a cane occasionally for long walks. Has anyone ever travelled with a cane with a seat attached? I have difficulty standing for long periods and need to sit down occasionally to relieve some back pain.

I booked our July, 2019 flights thru EZAir. I paid early in order to select our seats as we need extra legroom. Princess (not the airline) has notified me twice of flight number changes.

I may be very old-school ... if I wanted to reach out to highly-placed executives regarding pressing issues, I would compose a respectful and concise letter, send it snail mail and use registered mail with return receipt requested.
I wrote a snail mail to Jan Swartz about the chair removal a month ago, I haven't heard from her or anyone else at Princess!

We loved our mini on the Regal - deck 14 right under the sea walk. It had the larger curved balcony, was near the aft stairs and elevator and there was very, very little noise from deck 15. We enjoyed watching the people on the sea walk and did not feel that we were being watched. Loved the size of the mini and the large sofa. Just wish we could have the same cabin in every cruise.

I'm booked on a Baltic cruise with my family in July. I'll have Platinum wifi minutes - my granddaughter will purchase unlimited wifi for the 11 day cruise for $75. Just a thought for your monitor...

I wrote a letter (snail mail) to Jan Swartz last week about the lack of a comfortable chair, I'll let you know if I receive a reply. In the meantime I think I'll put in a chair request on my cruise personalizer for my upcoming Regal cruise.

I'm enjoying reading about your cruise. My late DH and I were on the Regal last February - same itinerary as this. I have friends on this cruise and can now tell them I know all about their cruise 😉. My son, granddaughter, her husband, my two great grandsons, and I (four generations) will be on the Regal on a Baltic cruise in July, 2019. Looking forward to your next posting.

Thanks all for your replies. I looked at my current passport and I was wearing white in that photo. The passport was issued early last year! I’m getting a new one because my name has changed. I remember having to remove my earrings for the photo.

I went to our local Walgreens today for a new passport photo. I was told I could not have my photo done in the white shirt that I was wearing. They said the white shirt would make it appear as if my head was floating. Is this something new?

DH and I took an upsell to a mini on the Regal this year, I did a mock booking to see what was available and chose one on deck 14 under the sea walk. Near Horizon Court. No noise from the pool deck. No excess motion. Much larger balcony! Large sofa. 2 TV's. Would definitely do it again!

DH and I have been fortunate to receive upsells on our last 4 Princess cruises!! Three times we moved from Obstructed OV to balconies. On two I was able to select Caribbean deck (big) balconies! On our last cruise we went from Balcony to Mini. All cruises were booked directly with Princess - I like handling them myself. Perhaps we keep getting the offers because we always accept them! Who knows???

Odd. I've done dozens of Princess sailaways and, except when there was rain, there's always been dancing on deck: the Wobble, the Cuban Shuffle, and of course the Electric Slide and Y-M-C-A. Wobble baby wobble baby wobble baby wobble...
At sailaway, they do play the Love Boat theme on the ship's horn - on the Royal and Regal.
Have been on many RCCL, Celebrity and Princess cruises - very much alike.

I'm intrigued by all this and would like to try a veggie burger although it sounds like my first one should not be on a Princess Ship. What store brands are good? What should I pick up with my next pack of brats?
We like Boca Burgers - soy beans are the main ingredient. Best cooked on a griddle - 6 minutes per side.

Does Royal offer Ukulele lessons, hula lessons, lei making or HI history on their Hawaii cruises? This is a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu with 5 sea days.
