We had dinner twice in Izumi and probably will not go back. The rolls are very fancy with too many unrecognizable ingredients. And they are very big so easy to share.

We will be on the Symphony later this year. I'm very sorry to hear this is a problem. The idea of taking a picture is excellent. We have been on many, many cruises and have not had a problem in our cabin. We always keep away from the casino. Guest Services may be slow to remedy the problem, but the Hotel Manager would probably take action quicker.

I like some information on how RCCL adds points to our Crown and Anchor membership. Do suites count double or triple? Are post-cruise tours added in? Does it matter how much we spend on board? I sure would like to understand. Thank you.

Great idea. I just did!
We were as formal as we could be. We tried to cancel before we got on the ship by calling RCCL, but that person said their books on this sailing was closed as we were embarking the next day. I emailed the concierge the day before the trip. I told the House Manager. We spoke to the concierge on the ship and have paperwork that she forwarded to another staff person.
Thank you! Thank you! The concierge contacted the shore office. I just called again and after one hour and 11 minutes, the Manilla based agent found the letter from the concierge and issued the refund! She said it takes 15 - 30 days. I hope I don't have to call back then, but I will if I have to. I did not get a confirmation letter as another person said above. In any case, thank you for the idea! It worked!

Why would you not e mail the suite concierge aboard the ship. You would have their e mail address from their pre cruise email to suite guests.

Just use the address I posted. 🙂
I just read all the emails on the website of the Corporate Offices. No one there has gotten a reply from their inquiries about refunds after months of waiting.

It wouldn't hurt to contact the executive offices at mbayley@rccl.com
Of course Mr. Bayley does not control this account. It goes to his "team" that handles the issues that are sent to the account.
So there is no need for anyone to jump in and say, "Why are you emailing the CEO?" "This goes to off-shore minimum wage workers." Those things are untrue and irrelevant.
Thank you Merion_Mom. Is there a list of emails for the executive offices?

We did not take our Post-Cruise shore excursion because of the reported smoke from fires in Denali and Fairbanks. I contacted the proper office at RCCL, Robert Egan at Guest Experience. I was told it would take about a month. Last week I spoke to someone in the office who said they had to contact the Radiance which would take 3-5 days for a response. I was told they wanted to be sure we did not take the trip. I called again a week later and was told the Radiance has not responded.
What do I do? How can I contact the Radiance of the Seas? I know that the House Manager and the Suite Concierge are well aware of our cancellation. Our refund could be a credit to our next sailing in November.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have done both Symphony and currently on Allure.
You don t need lunch reservations. Just go and they will seat you.
The one thing frustrating about the Symphony is the suite concierge in suite lounge sent a welcome letter. But did not give us the opportunity to make CK request. The letter said you had to do yourself. ( October 2021)
Where as on Allure Junior made all our CK reservations as well as booking comedy club for us. . That was done before we boarded.
I can only help that Symphony gets a concierge that is cruiser friendly.
Other than that. Enjoy the ship. She is beautiful.
Sorry to hear this. We actually booked this cruise BECAUSE we enjoyed the Allure so much. What about booking for dinner?

We want to book our dining choices for the Symphony. How do we make lunch and dinner reservations in the Coastal Kitchen (We have a suite.) Can we make reservations in advance of sailing? How?
We were on the Allure last year and loved the Coastal Kitchen. Is the Symphony restaurant just as good?
Is it open for lunch on day of embarkation?
Thank you.

Maybe this?
I haven’t tried to locate the specific information you need, but this seems pretty comprehensive.
I tried to locate the info, but it doesn't give a daily report. At least, I couldn't find it. I thank you for the info.

The doctor would just say that I do have asthma.

You would probably need a letter from a doctor prohibiting you from travel on the day you voluntarily decided to terminate your cruisetour to make a claim.
It didn't say that, but since I'm seeing him soon, I'll ask for that. Good idea.

Does anyone know where I can get a history of the air quality index for Fairbanks, Alaska for the month of July? I could not go on our post-cruise tour to Denali and Fairbanks because of the air quality due to the fires. I need several documents to prove to the insurance company why we interrupted our trip. Thank you. I do have several newspaper articles and one weather.com report. Thank you.

I'm home now. The people on the ship were unable to help me. Tomorrow, Monday, I will call my RCCL rep to see if they will transfer the monies from the cruisetour to my next booked cruise. If not, I'll have to call the insurance company. What a pain!

Thank you for all the information. We are taking the tour after our cruise. Our insurance company says that it is covered but we need documentation. The newspaper article that someone sent is perfect except I need it later, like a week later. So if someone can put in this page a newspaper article about the fire around July 6 or seven, it would be very helpful. I called RCCL and the person entered my info on my reservation. Thank you so much.

We are on a cruise tour starting Friday. Reports from Weather.com show Fairbanks smoky air is dangerous. I have asthma. Our cruise tour starts July 8 and after Denali we go to Fairbanks. Perhaps it will clear by then but I want to know my alternatives.
Can I cancel the tour part of the cruise for health reasons? Who do I talk to on the ship? Should I call the insurance company? We are already in Vancouver for a few days. -
The post cruise hotel is the Hilton Midtown which is a good location. Does anyone know the type of room that is booked? It's over $500/night. That's much more expensive than booking the same hotel on my own.
-
On the website, it says only certain ships have a concierge lounge for suite guests? Is the Caribbean Princess one of them? Do they have cans of soda?
-
Has anyone used this tour company to go to Mendenhall Glacier? What was your experience? We want to go to the Mendenhall Visitor Center. I read the shuttle bus leaves you 1.5 miles from the Center, so that is not an option. Please advise.
-
Has anyone done this tour? I'd like to know about your experience. Were the Fairmont Hotel rooms tiny as some are? Were the guides excellent? Did you enjoy the experience? Was it worth it?

AND WE JUST RECEIVED OUR MONEY IN OUR AMEX ACCOUNT! It only took 40 days with a lot of phone time to the Guest Experience team and several two emails to my ship's concierge which helped tremendously. Thank you for all your ideas.
