  1. But you have to wait in a line of about 50-60 people, and its not that much better. Plus on Cruise morning the elevators are absolutely a joke. Too many people at E.S. for us. Our bathroom 2 years ago was filthy.
  2. No one has been to this hotel??? 1 block behind the Holiday Inn Bayside.
  3. Hyatt Place, and I have been to all 3. For a great rate from May to November $109- $119 a night try Valutrips.com. Have used them 6-7 times over the years for this great rate. There are a few black out dates listed at the bottom. Most hotels in this area are $200 a night.
  4. There will be 3 Princess ships in port everglades on 4/20, Caribbean P, Enchanted P, and Emerald P. No telling which pier they will be on.
  5. Can anyone who has been here tell me about your stay?
  6. Valutrips is blacked out for those dates. April is also still high season. Be prepared $$$$$
  7. It is a brand new ship and 95% of the people booking inside cabins on it are paying 1,800- 2,500 per person before taxes and port charges. That is what this thread is about. I'm pointing out it can be cheaper if you look in the right direction. Like 1/2 price. It's all about supply and demand. When demand is high, so is pricing. It's all about knowing where to look.
  8. Wife just booked the 2 of us for October 19-26, 2024 for a Total price of $ 2,300, Guarantee Inside room. Every website you look at including R.C. is $ 1,800 or more P.P. But there is only 1 with deep discounts for a few weeks here and there that just came out 2 weeks ago. Wish I could divulge where we booked, but it is not allowed. Check all sites and you might find it.
  9. Have been on 22 cruises and rarely spend more than $500 per couple.
  10. https://watertaxi.com/ I would do this. you can ride it all day up and down the intercoastal, and it stops, you get on and get off. Great way yo see Ft. Lauderdale.
  11. Their blackout dates are clearly listed at bottom of the page.
  12. Most hotels are well within 4-5 miles. Airport to PE is 3 miles.
  13. Hyatt Place , no resort fee, might have an over night fee. We have never parked a car there. I know they have a cruise package where you stay a night and then have parking for a week. You might want to call the hotel. Its a great place to stay, and I have been to most of them in this area. 22 cruises so far.
  14. You should of grabbed your luggage and called the police. Take a picture of the cab and liscense plates and make him wait.
  15. Yes, 100 % Have used it well over 5 times in the past.
  16. We agree. Was there for 1 night about 6 years ago.
  17. Just make sure when you get in a cab they turn the meter on. If not tell them to stop and let you out.
  18. The usual, uber xl or a van cab, It is less than 3 miles to the port.
  19. Have been there many years ago, it is a very nice hotel. We were not on a cruise for our stay.
  20. The black out dates are right there after((( special events.)))) been there since they were first posted. I checked for them daily as we were looking for dates in May for our cruise 5/20. Websites do make mistakes, thats why I had told you to check with the hotel to see if you indeed had a reservation, I have been booking with them for many years and know what to look for. Sorry that you had issues.
  21. Those dates are indeed blacked out. At the very bottom there are several that are blacked out. Not valid with any other offers or discounts, during holidays, special events, 1/4-3/31/24, 4/5-4/6, 4/12, 4/19-4/20, 7/1-7/6, 7/14-7/17, 10/17-10/19, 10/29-11/3 or 12/31/24. Offers may
  22. If your date was 10/ 17 thru 10/19 it is clearly blacked out on their web site???? your date?
  23. I have been using V.T, for many years. You might have a BIG surprise when you show up at the hotel and the do not have your booking. Yes I have seen it many times here on Cruise Critic. You need to double check when going thru a second party. You will not have a room, this is a smaller hotel and are usually booked 100%.
