    We always stay at Hyatt Place. Get lunch at Duffy's in the Harbor Shops. Walk over to Publics and get on the Trolley to the beach. Looks like it comes every half hour. Just remember to catch the last one back before 5 P.M. or you will have to Uber or cab it back. The beach is only 2 miles ride.

    Sorry that you are getting off tomorrow, that mean our cruise on sept 17th. is a little closer. Same ship.

    Its a very nice hotel. Make sure to get a room in the tower. The 2 story buildings are the ones with the bad reviews.

    http://www.valuetrips.com/ We have been using this site for over 5 years now. It is Hyatt Place off of 17th. st. at a very good discount. Just submit a request and usually between 3-5 days you will get an email back if there are rooms available. Have it booked next month pre and post cruise for our Allure 17th trip.

    Cabs are going to probably be best as this is only a 3 mile trip.

    Yes Hyatt Place is very nice. Been there over 5 times now and staying there this Sept Pre and Post cruise.

    Riverside is downtown on Los Olas, and Sonesta is on the Ocean just east of downtown Lauderdale.

    We do the same after having all our clothes ruined by someone else luggage that had red wine bottles that had broken after being tossed into the huge bins. Wrap everything in garbage bags.

    Any hotel will hold you bags for a few $$$
