  1. That will do me for today. NA tomorrow. Thanks everyone.
  2. Thanks for the HAL Fleet locations and the daily information. Thanks for the photos of today's destination, and for another Central Otago New Zealand wine, am not familiar with it, there are numerous wineries in Central Otago. @aliaschief such good news to be 6 years free of cancer. Thanks for your humour today. @smitty34877 pleased that you will be having help with Tana. @kazu thank you for your post today, take care, sending hugs to you. For the gardening club, our Eucryphia Nymansay is looking lovely, masses of flowers. A lovely tree to grow in a smaller garden.
  3. @gregma60 we were told that the two staterooms are SB because they are so far away from the Neptune Lounge..........did not seem far to us!
  4. Thank you for the reminder, hope to be here for sail away.
  5. Today March 8th, is International Womens Day, a reminder that New Zealand women were the first in the world to be given the right to vote in 1893. All people who were unacounted for after Cyclone Gabrielle have now been located. Have never cooked a Pork Crown Roast, we cook pork roasts in the BBQ. Thanks for mentioning another New Zealand wine, from the southern North island. @RedneckBob Happy Birthday, hope you have had a super day. @smitty34877 what news of the visit to the Cardiologist ? Hope that a suitable new aide will soon be found for Tana. Last night was Census night, this morning walked along to the postbox with our completed papers.
  6. @gregma60 A few years ago, 7002 and 7004 became category SB, before that all the Neptune Suites were SA. Nothing about the suites changed except for the category name. I thought that something must have changed in the stateroom, but no, the stateroom was exactly the same as previously HAl probably thinks an upgrade would be to an SA below the noisy section of the Lido!
  7. @richwmn thanks for your reply. will it be useful to you?
  8. @gregma60 we think there were outlets, but it's several years since we sailed on the Volendam. Maybe someone who has recently sailed in a Volendam Neptune suite will be able to help.
  9. It's another busy day on the Fleet/ Daily. Thanks for all the photos of Auckland, @Mtn2Sea you are brave to do the bungy jump. @StLouisCruisers the large Santa in you photo no longer lives in Auckland, has been transported to a new home in Central Otago. We think that BHB would have been Noordam in your photo.. @JazzyV liked seeing the Statendam, good memories of our 28 day Panama Canal cruise on board her. @Cruising-along lovely Hellebores. @Cruzin Terri what a relief that you do not have clots in you lungs, hope that you get a good sleep and feel better tomorrow. @bennybear welcome home, beautiful Jacaranda.
  10. We have stayed over 100 nights in 7002, the bridge does not obstruct forward views, often when we were on the lovely big balcony the Captain would wave to us. Re the door to the staff quarters, we rarely heard any noise, sometimes we would be leaving the stateroom at the same time as a staff member left their area, they would always speak with us. Would be very happy to again stay in this stateroom.
  11. From today Monday 6th, cruise ships are permitted to re- start visits to Napier. Does anyone have the recipe for theTomato Pie/Tart that was posted ages ago?,can't find the recipe would appreciate if someone would repost the recipe. Thank you if you can help.
