  1. It's another lovely sunny day, on this Tuesday, the last day of February. temperature 23 C. Thanks for the Fleet locations, Noordam is in Wellington today. Lots of news on the daily today. @Safety Squirrel thank you for your post and photos. @kazu thank you for your message, today 3 people not accounted for, but maybe they do not want to be located! @cruising Katie so sorry that Jerry was so ill, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. @rafinmd hope your visit to the podiatrist goes well. @Cruising-along hope your DH gets a prompt medical appointment for his cough. @1ANGELCAT thank you for the beautiful flower photos. @StLouisCruisers and @kazu thank you for your Multiquoting posts today, such good examples to all of us.   2. Here in the south, it's a lovely sunny Monday, temperature 20 C. Have not been to today's destination, thanks for posting the photos Due to damage from Cyclone Gabrielle, Noordam is not calling at Napier today, she is sailing south to Wellington. Less than 10 people now remain unaccounted for after the cyclone. More heavy rain forecast for the Cyclone affected areas.

Thanks for all the information on this HAL Fleet/Daily thread. @rafinmd Roy, pleased that you had a better sleep, but feel concerned about your foot. We were pleased to see @RMLincoln Maureen and Richard at sail away today, it seems a very long time since we met them on board the Volendam. Re refrigerators, the side by side refrigerator and freezer we purchased for the second house that we had built for us, are sitting in the garage here, but I really miss the ice maker type refrigerator we chose at the last house we had built for us. Unfortunately not enough kitchen space where we are now for that type of refrigerator. Appreciate seeing all the photos of Aarhus, thanks.

  7. Another busy day on the HAL Fleet/Daily thread. Have been to Hobart several times by ship, thanks for all the photos, brings back good memories. Today Noordam has had a day of Scenic cruising, tomorrow (Saturday) she will berth in Auckland. @JazzyV condolences on the death of DFF's uncle. @cruising sister hope that the counselling helps your grandson.   9. Thanks for all the daily information. It's a cooler day, temperature 14 C, alternate sun and rain all day. Need rain, the city reservoirs are low. Supermarket this morning, then out for lunch. @Cruising-along and @kplady thank you for sharing your photos @Mr. Boston Bon Voyage. @marshhawk very sorry about Neko, we humans have to make the hard decisions for our fur babies........, but we don't want them to suffer. It's almost a year since we had to make that decision, for our previous cat. Hugs to you and DH. @smitty34877 some people are so inconsiderate, they should be thankful that it is not themselves being wheeled away for futher treatment. More heavy rain is forecast for Hawkes Bay. Thank you to the posters who have mentioned the folk affected by the Cyclone Australia and Fiji have sent assistance.

  11. Finally a chance today to make a brief post. Thanks to all who have posted today. Wonderful to have some rain, it's been very dry here. @RMLincoln Bon Voyage. have a fabulous family cruise. @Cruzin Terri sorry that your bathroom is not completed, and that you had a slow drive home. The number of people unacounted for after Cyclone Gabrielle is now 1131. Thousands of people remain without electricity in the affected areas.
