That was on a Chase Hyatt card.

The dessert was the best part of my meal in Eden. I don’t typically like or eat the desserts but I made an exception that night!

A few years back, our Celebrity cruise departed Venice and first stop was Ravenna. Hooked up with cruise critic roll call passengers and had a private tour of mosaics. Guide arranged transport to city for our meeting spot. Enjoyed our day in Ravenna. If want to see Venice and want to sail from there, need to go on a smaller ship. Doesn’t seem that the municipality of Venice wants larger cruise ships to stop there. Would like to see the itinerary listed as Ravenna rather than Venice. Those not familiar with Italy, don’t know that that there is quite a distance between the two.

That was a Chase Hyatt card. I now also use a Delta card with this attached. I had a Costco card that had this but they stopped it so went searching for a new one. Different cards have different insure limits per person per trip per year.

Book refundable room. -
Had to cancel a week prior to cruise due to medical issue. Contacted celebrity and they offered to move the cruise 2 months out. Wouldn’t work for us. No insurance with Celebrity but did thru my credit card but did not disclose this to celebrity. Did receive my payment from the credit card insurance. When you call to cancel, request a letter stating what you will lose and what will be credited back. This was required for the insurance company thru the credit card if you are covered.

Shows were usually over by 11. Not much going on in Eden after that during our 2 weeks on Apex.

We had 9310 on Apex. Was very large and could fit lounger but were refused when asked. Could be that we would be sailing into 4 day storm and had to bring furniture in from veranda. Cabin next to us - not a suite - had one and they had tied it down.

And that can be a lot! -
Read up on Cinque Terre. We walked to the La Spezia train station and visited a few of the cities. The ferry was not running when we were there. If you have not yet done so, there is a website for Cinque Terre. Has a lot of information. The short lovers walk is closed until 2024. Have only gone to Florence from Livorno.

I contacted Celebrity via message and said they would get back to me in a few days ago. I have been checking often and the sold out excursion was available. Check the planner often for cancellations.

Trip Review - Equinox (June 24 - July 2)

Was this a private excursion or thru the cruise line. How much time at Sorobon beach? Happy anniversary -
When your name was corrected the person who did that may have confused you with another person with same/similar name and combined your records or merged them. Happened to me some years back. A passenger with same name made a reservation. My address and phone number on my account were changed to that persons. Took a few calls to get it corrected.

Error in pricing?

I sent an email this morning and just received a call from a nice person at celebrity asking my opinion. She said it is an 8 week trial period.

Sailed on the Apex in a Sunset Veranda. Now looking at a Beyond sailing and no SV available. Anyone who has sailed in a porthole veranda on the Edge class, what did you think? Would you do it again? Did you think it was claustrophobic? If you sailed in a forward location in one of these, what was your experience? Bumpy, smooth or no difference. We usually sail in mid or aft of ship. At this time only forward available. Viewed spreadsheet and not a lot of postings for these cabins. Thanks for any info you have. Gail

Thanks for the quick response!

I have been on all the S class and familiar with room layout for cabins. Looking at Constellation and never been on M class. Does the location of the bed vary by room as on S Class? Have been looking on the spreadsheet but not all cabins are listed. I prefer bed by bath. Thanks for any advice on this. Gail

The real reason it cost more for everything on Celebrity

Will have to try that place -
Just prior to Covid I had to cancel a week before sailing and did not have insurance with celebrity. They offered to move it two months out but that would not have worked as that was when surgery was planned. Covid would have cancelled it anyway but did not know that. Had insurance with credit card company and recovered funds. Doesn’t hurt to call. But not usually the norm.

We were in Naples and bought tickets that day and made the mistake of not buying return tickets as did not know we could. We did when we arrived at Capri but had to leave earlier than wanted and had to go to other port. There was a shuttle waiting to transport to other port. This was a holiday weekend and a Sunday. This was some years back.

LIVE from Equinox (June 24, 2023), sailing on a budget

According to FAQ's, now 1 per person is a recent change. So you are correct for double occupancy. In April it was 2/person.
