Flight ease was a few thousand less for a flight for us. ONE of us. I was astounded. if you can get the HAL website to work, it can be great. For a period of weeks I could not get it to work, nor could the FlightEase phone line. I had to book regular flights for all but one person one direction.

So it’s OBC on a future hypothetical cruise? Or $50 off a booking if I make another?

I got notice that my friend signed up for the cruise. I think she gets $50 OBC but mine isn’t until after she sails??

Get a debit card free from foreign transaction fees. Schwab is great. They also reimburse any atm fee the bank you are using charges. So easy.

Last cruise in September they said no specialty dining was available the first night (though we could book for the night we LEFT the ship. They had the days wrong). So, PG first night, a table here and there (concierge made reservations I know and maybe others walked up). Other nights absolutely jam packed.

If I click to look for a new flight, will it cancel what I have? I want to see the current pricing but am afraid clicking Change Flight Will cancel what I have.

Fairbanks was a favorite interior location on our trip. We spent an extra day or two on the front end and it was amazing. From Fairbanks was actually the only time we saw the peak of Denali and we even went up in a plane for a tour of Denali. Without hesitation I say 3 day Denali option. Rafting, a flight, your included bus tour day, hiking, resting and enjoying nature. It’s very nice.

My flight was one way for only one of the passengers. A huge savings.

No idea about agencies in Canada. The ONLY reason I move reservations from HAL to an agent is money. The price is lower. All things equal I’d leave it with the cruise line too

Even if you book with a travel agent you still book the air arrangements and excursions, dining etc directly with Holland America.

It was in this morning’s emails! Exactly as you described. The record locator I tried last night was HAL’s, not the airline’s. The reservation is right there on the airline’s website. Thank you all so much!

We had a paper the first day. I requested ice and service twice a day.

It was over 2000k less for one flight thru FlightEase. I’m just worried about them escalating the price

Do prices generally change on the flexible fare? I know the disclaimer says they can….but I’ve not read here that they do. Do I cancel my backup flight?
