  2. Julie, I've been enjoying your wonderful posts and was both sad and a little shocked to hear both you and your husband have contracted Covid, despite being so very careful. Glad to know Seabourn is treating you well and look forward to hearing more on this new twist in your adventure. Thanks again for sharing your journey with us and hoping your symptoms remain mild and your recovery is quick.

I prefer Delta and it's airline partners, too...back to my question, did you arrange your own flights or purchase through Viking? Btw, we just missed each other by a day as my long layover on Jul 2 allowed for time in both JFK's Delta Sky Lounge and Amex Centurion Lounge as well and agree, wonderful places to relax...with awesome expresso martinis at Centurion Lounge giving it a slight edge. 🍸😉

  12. I hope you are feeling better as well and wanted to thank you for sharing your experience with us. Interesting that Celebrity offered $250 a night but no coverage for food...did they give a reason why food would not be covered? And what about your flights home...did you use Flights by Celebrity and if so, will they cover change fees?

  14. Great information...thanks so much! 😊 ...and I totally understand your disclaimer...I've had GeoBlue/Medjet in the past, both of which get top ratings and worth it IMHO simply for peace of mind and like you, never had to use either (knock on wood). But that was pre-Covid...before quarantine.
