Not sure that is the case. It's part of the streamlining process that accompanied the new menus in which no substitutes or special requests allowed. The last time I was successful in getting the bites was my sail on Anthem in February '23.

When I disembarked Harmony on the 10th it was blustery and, in the low 50's. It was warmer back home in NJ.🤣 I thought the disembarkation process in Bayonne was weird, but Galveston was even weirder. Did self-assistance and was ready at the Promenade around 7AM. The line was already long, and staff kept telling everyone to sit down and not stand around. Most ignored the instructions. At around the 7:30 mark there was movement. We proceeded to an exit and onto the running/walking track on deck 5. Walked a bit and went thru another entrance to the 5th deck. MDR. Exited the MDR onto the opposite deck 5 track side. After another couple hundred feet we finally escaped the ship. Afterwards everything was very smooth until I got hit in the face with the cold wind. Caught Galveston Express shuttle to Bush Int'l. Shuttle was excellent and priced reasonably. Had a driver who was very knowledgeable of the many ways to get to the airport as we encountered heavy traffic about halfway to the airport and he took a few side roads and finally got on another roadway/expressway (610?). Going thru TSA was a bit of a hassle. One of my carry-ons was pulled aside and had to wait for an officer to re-scan the bag, supposedly initially, the Xray machine could not scan the contents properly. Finally made it to an Oasis in the airport-- the United Airlines Lounge.

As an aside, a couple of weeks ago, I was doing a mock booking on an 8 nite Oasis sail. This past week I get an e-mail with an announcement of a $1,200+ price drop on that sail. All excited I go thru the exercise of calculating my fare and the damn price is the same. Yesterday, I got another e-mail and this time a price drop of $1,300+-guess what, no movement in pricing. Bottom line--FUBAR price drop announcements.

Wonder if the champagne is from the Casino. On my last few cruises, I got 2 bottles of white wine per my selection and a bottle of champagne, but no card associated with it. On my recent Harmony sail, got my customary wine, but alas no champagne.🤣

My reference was to your quote that the D+ individual would have loved the lunch with Officers, etc. Wanted confirmation that this benefit accrues to those D+ C & A members with 340+ nights. Ps. Must be your computer as my print size is the same as yours as I'm reading both your response and my posting.🤣

I was on Harmony December 3 sail and got individual invites to the top tier, lunch with Officers and any other events. They were easily spotted as my cabin was clean when I entered.🤣 However, on my August Oasis sail, all events invites were done via phone messages.🤣

Does it show where the Comedy show is being held. On my recent Harmony sail it was held in the Attic which is the same as Blaze on Oasis. Also, the Comedy show was held in the Theatre on the last night on both Oasis and Harmony. It was restricted to 18+ years and don't believe reserves were required.

The last 2 cruises on Oasis and Harmony there's one performance usually on the last night where the Adult Comedy is held in the theatre. As some have said, Royal maintains 25% or reserves for on bord bookings. Also, on the larger ships there are usually 3 performances each night. On recent Oasis sail in October, me and my son went stand-by and did not think that we could get in as the line was longer than the reserve. No problem, all of the stand-bys got in. There also is a large bar that one can sit around and watch the performances.

I sailed on Harmony last Sunday and was surprised as my bottle of complementary wines were not ready in my cabin when I arrived. I was told by my cabin attendant that due to the Texas liquor law I wasn't getting them until after sailing time. Very educational and I also recently found out that Casino gambling is illegal in the state.

So, is he officially the Godfather of the Icon and will he be sailing on the Icon at various times.

Wow, if you exclude Star and Icon (out of my price range) very slim pickings of Adventure & Oasis from Florida ports for the month of August '25 for 7+ niters.

I'm on Harmony now and booked a CP balcony for same time next year and got a price of $1,289 with solo supplement and balcony discounts. Earned a Casino credit of $250 off fare and $200 in OBCs. Good deal for me.

You have “savings MTD” this may be your balcony discount. What was the amount for this line.

To me, the bigger the better as I enjoy wondering throughout the ship.

A sad example was some years ago when a child was playing in the pool while the parents and other relatives were bs and drinking. This sad episode forced the cruise industry to place lifeguards at all pools. Sometimes, I feel sorry for the lifeguards regarding the attitude of some passengers, but also no matter the weather and if the pool is open, they need to be on guard.

Curious, what is the difference. Is it "subway" vs "skyway". I'm planning on not checking my bag and can I assume that the skyway would be more convenient as I'm equating the "airtran" tram running at Newark Int'l, however this is outside TSA
