  1. I booked a sail on Oasis for August 20, 2023, for my D, SIL and my 2 granddaughters (not vaxxed) to join my son's family and me. We used to sail as a family around Easter time prior to the pandemic. The H&S protocol had prevented them from joining us until the recent announced updated H&S protocols. Tried to pump the agent for some reassurances in case the protocols change again, unfortunately he wasn't able to answer my questions. Also, wanted to wait until I boarded Allure on Sept. 3rd and book on board where the risk would have been $400 vs $1,000, but I did not want to lose adjoining cabins that were available. Took the risk? Asked for a 24-hour hold, but the confusing part is that the deposits are not due until August 29th. Updated Protocols: U.S. Departures 9‐Nights or less Below find our updated protocols for U.S. departures that are 9 nights or less — excluding sailings to Bermuda and Canada. Should there be any changes, we are committed to keeping you informed. All Guests, All Aboard Beginning September 5th, 2022 we are welcoming all guests, regardless of vaccination status, on most U.S. departures. Vaccination Recommended If eligible, we recommend that guests joining us be fully vaccinated against COVID‐19. While vaccination is not required, we kindly ask you disclose your status during check-in to ensure we maintain a highly vaccinated onboard population.
  2. What is the limit on bottles of wine--2 per cabin or per person.
  3. Better than that, I book on board and only have a $100 pp risk.😀
  4. There was a thread a month or so ago, that quoted Bayley mentioning a target of 80/20. However, they should ask the question at booking time and not at check-in as to have better control.
  5. But the bigger news unless I'm not reading it correctly, one can sail without being vaxxed. My big concern is the last sentence of "vaccination Recommended" which asks to disclose status of at check to maintain a highly vaxxed onboard population. This seems a bit late and problematic since you check-in 30-45 prior to sail. I guess, now I can plan a cruise with my unvavaxxed granddaughters who are 12+
  6. Just got an updated H&S protocols and it says that unvaxxed 5 and older are welcomed to sail. Am I reading it right. Not sure if this was brought out in many of the topics. Testing Pre-cruise Unvaccinated guests aged 5 and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 3 days of our sail date. Vaccinated guests, regardless of age, no longer need to test for sailing lengths of 9 nights or less. Accepted Tests Guests can now take advantage of at-home antigen tests (even unsupervised ones!) to satisfy this requirement. Proof of a negative test can be the printed or digital results, a clear photo of your self-test result, or your actual self-test in hand. To learn more about our accepted tests, visit our FAQ. 7. Because your opening comment (although not political) makes it appear as if Florida is being treated differently than the rest of the US.
  8. Any documentationb The Icon for uploading the vaccine card has disappeared from the APP.
  9. The only Covid related info to upload that I know of, was the vaccine card, but that seems to have been dropped by Royal.
  10. A few years ago, when we did the 9 nite NE/Canada sail when we left Bar Harbour, the MDR menu had whole lobsters. We were told that Royal had purchase some $250k in lobsters. It was a pleasant and delicious surprise. This was in addition to the lobster tail(s) night. The next day the MDR luncheon menu had seafood roll on its menu. We were excited as we expected a good amount of lobster meat. Alas, very little or no lobster at all, and the entire presentation was very liquidly seemed lots of mayonnaise. Simply disgusting.😬
  11. They are bringing back the buffet for breakfast and lunch in the MDR on O and Q class.
  12. I've got a September 3rd sail and hoping no test required, but I doubt it.
  13. You can keep the butter, just give me lobster fra-diavolo (red) and linguini and I'm in heaven.☺️
  14. Wow, that's double what I paid pre-pandemic in Kennebunkport.
  15. Same here and I love the location of the D lounge/club.
  16. Are you sure, how do they know if you want to pay cash vs the D allowed drinks.
  17. No, same for Anthem. I asked when I sailed Anthem at Easter, and the staff had no indication when and if it would be back.
  18. Hasn’t it been changed from 2 to 3 days. My sail on Allure of September indicates a 3 day period, therefore, a Sunday sail the period covered would be Thursday-Saturday.
  19. If refundable OBC, you can go to Guest Services and cash it out.
  20. I know, but my first thought as I'm boarding is to run to the Central Park Cafe for my roast beef sandwich.😆
