  1. Crazy, who would have guessed? We also have a number of pair of Haven slippers, might put them up LOL
  2. I did like the leather holders you got in the Haven on the Escape and Getaway. I kept them both, for the heck of it I put one on eBay and sold it for $35, who would have guessed LOL
  3. Lots of reviews saying how Prima is not a good cold weather ship
  4. Thanks, you are very welcome Here is the dining room....
  5. Watch my Escape Haven tour..... I even go for a ride on the elevator. The video will give you a good overall view of where things are
  6. We were in Croatia last year for a week, we used a CC everywhere except for bathrooms which were 1-2 Euros
  7. The Getaway at the moment is off the coast of Germany.... https://www.cruisemapper.com
  8. How times have changed, I remember when the Gem Thermal Spa pass on a 7 day cruise was $99.... $89 if you bought it in the terminal before getting on the ship
  9. I did that on the Getaway in January. I used my iPhone as a hotspot, to long of a story by I had to get on the internet using both my iphone and MacBook and the hotspot worked. I was told it would not but it did
  10. The cabins are pretty close to each other on deck 14. Never seem rushed, but the guy was always on the move. The cabin next to us had people who were.... I'll put it nicely..... very needy. We never saw them leave their cabin, and it seemed they had room service for every meal Lol
  11. Maybe, on the Getaway in January in a Haven Spa cabin on deck 14 our butler had 16 cabins.
  12. Ships like the Gem have 14? cabins in the "Haven" the other 24? are in the front and rear of the ship. I'm assuming they have three butlers, one for the Haven cabins and two for the suites forward and rear?
  13. My wife and I have sailed in the Haven twice, first time was courtyard, second time was Spa Cabin. Never noticed any chaos in the Haven, the rest of the ship yes, Haven never. The service we had was awesome.
  14. As the title says, I'm looking for photos / videos of cabin 10502 on the Gem post rehab Thanks Laszlo
  15. No matter how many it we always bring two of these along.... https://amzn.to/3LJi2UN
  16. The Gem doesn't have a stand alone Haven restaurant. Suites and Haven get breakfast and lunch in Cagney's? Not sure, it used to be Cagney's
  17. Besides the Haven courtyard and Haven sundeck is their anything else you don't get in a Suite vs having a Haven cabin?
  18. At least we are there from 10am-7pm. We haven been there before, not planning on doing an excursion. Might rent some bikes
  19. Thanks for the info, will be on the Gem coming from Bermuda
  20. Thanks, will be on the Gem. Might move up to Suite just to avoid the tendering lines
  21. Does NCL use its lifeboats or does the town have tenders?
  22. Have a family member win the lottery. On our last sailing on the Gem we were in an Aft suite cabin. 2nd or 3rd day at sea we were having breakfast and we ended up talking to a family next to us. Long story short, the family (large one) booked a back to back cruise, 14 days total. They had (2) of the 3 Bedroom Garden Villas and (2) 2 Bedroom Haven Cabins. I did some quick math in my head at the time and figured it was right around 100K, the family had 18 members. The cruise was a gift from one of the family members who two years before won 80 million in a lottery. This was the 2nd cruise like this they had taken that year
  23. Sure, but it might be windy. The only restrictions is you must keep your curtains closed at night
