  1. OK, we will need to stay away from that one.
  2. So what is the elevator doing? We board the Vision in a few weeks.
  3. I understand the desire of the cruise line to improve efficiency and therefore costs. However, these plain options of an already planned meal should not make a big difference.
  4. Thank you for posting. DH is a picky eater and often orders the grilled chicken 2-3 times on a longer cruise. This change will make a big difference to him.
  5. We were in an Owner's Suite on the Voyager in August. [1308] We did not have any issues with noise in our cabin. It was a great cabin, and we were lucky to get it. We won a Royal Up bid from a JS to get it. I should mention that our cruise was less than 50% full and there were lots of upgrades on that cruise. I told DH to enjoy it we would not be able to afford this again. 😁
  6. I do not have any OBC showing yet. I checked my cruise planner and the Premier pass still shows as reserved. I only bought 1. edit: I see your cruise is before mine. [April 28] Maybe they are doing it in order of cruise date.
  7. Yes, charged my card and I got a confirmation email.
  8. So, I just bought this for us. I only booked for me. If they charge for two it is not worth it for 2 D+ on a 3-day cruise. I will cancel
  9. I see this for my 3-day Liberty sailing. Wish this was for the second part of this B2B. DH does not use the internet so as D+ we get 4 days total on a 3-day cruise and he does not drink wine. It is not showing on my two 10-day cruises. [way too good to be true for those]. It is not as big a deal for 3 days. DH is not sure if we want it. Hope they do not realize their mistake while he makes up his mind. HaHa
  10. Thank you so much. All three cruises are there. I had been going to that screen and going sideways. It kept taking me to my reservations. I had to scroll all the way to the top to see the "Select a different cruise >". Now I feel really foolish. [but it won't be the last time] Ha Ha Ha😀😜
  11. I can see my next cruise on the Royal app and have used this to make MTD reservations, etc. However, I have 2 other cruises booked. I just booked an add-on cruise yesterday that is actually before the one that is showing. Check in date for that cruise will be soon. How do I get those other cruises to appear in the app? And how do I go back and forth between them. I am sure it is something simple--I just can't figure it out. TIA PS. I did search on this forum and on the technology forum. I could not find an answer.
  12. That is often what I do. However, on the Enchantment last time they did not run the usual special for the last three days. So, I had to pay a little more. If they charge the stream rate that will raise it even a more. [I know it is a first world problem]
  13. Glad the C and A benefit covers the upgraded internet. However, I do not watch videos, etc. Depending on the length of the cruise I sometimes used my 2-day benefit or DH benefit to buy a plan. Now that will be more expensive. We were recently on the Celebrity Beyond and the included Starlink internet [surf] was really not much better than the old internet. However, those that had the streaming internet felt it was much better.
  14. So will the D+ benefit still cover 2 days of this upgraded internet?
  15. I would like to ask this same question in reverse. We are arriving in Bayonne from a Canada/New England cruise and we would like to take Amtrak to Baltimore Washington Airport. [DD can pick us up from there] There is an 11:52am train that I do not feel would rush us. We took an Amtrak from BWI to EWR in October and stayed at an airport hotel. We took an Uber to the port the next day. Easy-peasy. Should we take an uber/taxi to Newark Penn station or to EWR to board the train? Currently the Amtrak cost is $28 pp. That is similar to what we paid on the trip last year. I read that the EWR station is only meant for people taking flights. Also, we had to take the airport Sky train to the terminal. I am thinking it is easier to take the Uber to the Penn station to board? Are there elevators to get to track level? DH has some mobility issues and the whole process last rip of Amtrak to terminal and out to where we picked up airport hotel shuttle about did him in.
  16. It was a money grab pure and simple at the end. I am going to be generous and say it had a useful purpose at the beginning.
  17. Thanks for telling me that. DH would have an issue with that.
  18. Loved the video. Congrats!! Looking forward to finding out why you were stuck in the terminal. On our October cruise there was a wedding. The guests were gathering near the suite waiting area. It seemed a little chaotic to me. They were very obvious since they were in wedding finery and most other guests were in cruise garb. Finally, someone came and said, "wedding guests follow me." There was a fair amount of grumbling before that.
  19. They are arriving one day and not flying out until the next day.
  20. I would stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel at Canada Place [at the port] and tour for the day and half. [they will store luggage for you] You can take the sky train to the airport. [short walk] We liked watching the float planes take off and land from the harbor, too. Short walk to China Town. There are a couple of HOHO buses that will take you around the area. We found the difference was mostly how many stops they make in Stanley Park. It is well worth visiting. The bus will take you to China Town and several other points of interest. We are not big on organized tours. YMMV We stayed at the Hampton Inn farther from the port [on HOHO stop] Second visit we just stayed near airport overnight. But, we said the next time we will stay at Pan Pacific. The embark/disembark is in basement of hotel.
  21. If you have not booked yet I strongly suggest you spend time reading through the Cruise Critic Alaska Board. I wish I had done this before I booked. I would have done things a little differently. However, we sailed the Radiance on the last cruise northbound. Our TA put together a partial cruise tour. I would have booked the cruise and done the rest on my own. We did a high and low philosophy. We spent more at some stops for a premium experience and less at other where we did not feel it was necessary. In Ketchikan we took the public bus to the state park to see the totem poles and hike though the park. [~ $2 per person] After visiting the Potlach Park we rode back to town and walked around and had lunch. We spent about $25 for an excellent day. [will be a little more now]. The bus stop is beside the eagle. See how close it is? In Skagway we booked the train to Yukon are of British Colombia. [You need your passport] The cruise ship offered this same excursion--but, it cost more. [same train] In Icy Straigt we took a small ship whale watch. It was expensive and so worth it. there was a max of 6 of us on board. Think small ship. We saw mostly tales. But it was a very good tour. [dress warmly] We even had a seal swim up to our boat. Juneau is another place to save money. Take a shuttle to the Mendenhall Glacier. [blue buses] and then walk around town. It is very walkable. YMMV We saw bears at the glacier. JMHO
  22. I got my block for my March 2021 Enchantment of the Seas cruise a couple of months ago. So, do not lose hope. 😁
  23. 1 for Inside, Outsides, and balconies [2 if you are solo]. If the cabin is listed as a solo cabin it only gives one point. 2 for any of the suites. [3 if you are solo]
