  1. Hi stranger😀....that was my thinking from the start......directly from Orlando to cruise terminal. (If cost isn't an issue).
  2. OMG....really? I have had one of those before and NEVER want to experience another one! No Kale for me then!!!!
  3. Yes, yes I am LOL......but eating at 9 would be too late for me no matter where my residence would be.😀
  4. We have True Foods Kitchen here as well. Kale just tastes too bitter to me. They always offer a side of kale salad or sweet potato hash.........you can bet which one I always get and it is not the kale.....but I LOVE spinach....kind of strange.....
  5. I guess I am in the minority about dinner timing......I love Silver Note but if they told me I could not till 9? There is no way I can eat that late😮.....8 is even later than I prefer. Last cruise on Dawn I never ate at Silver Note but did stop by to see who was singing later in the evening.
  6. Ohhh...you are in real Southern Country......you need to find a place with some really good fried chicken and some BBQ too and Alabama has some famous white BBQ sauce..........😀 Hope ya'll are having a good time!
  7. Good suggestions....or as I mentioned, they could get a car service one way......it might be a bit pricey it is an option.
  8. Hi, I have never heard of a transfer from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale. My suggestion is to get them a car service since they are uncomfortable driving. Others may recommend something else but for that many miles? See what a car one way costs......I guess Uber/Lyft may go that way too but if you look on the "Florida Forum" you might some get informative replies over there too.
  9. Well, had to go grocery shopping and Noosa was on sale😀.....the 4 packs were buy 1, get one free and the singles were 2 for 3.00.........I got multiple. and 1 of them was that caramel to try since it is a small size. Sorry about all that bad weather for those of you out west. Somehow we are in a warm spell......in the 80s this week😮....not normal for February.
  10. Good morning, Anita, always nice to see you and please post on here whenever you like😀 I remember seeing that Italian place on Stanley's show and it looked like those Mamma's were having so much fun!
  11. That must have been a BIG SHOCK for sure!!!!
  12. I decided to put a hold on the river cruise. Too much detail to go into on here but lets just say, I am waiting a couple of more months and will see where things stand at that time. Maybe later this summer or early fall. I have a TA crossing booked (has been booked for a while) for November so just re-thinking after I come back from Greece what will be best.
  13. Sounds delicious that is for sure. I have to admit, back when I was a kid Mom made hers on the bone. More like a baked chicken.......cut up in pieces. I think the sauce and extra made in Cacciatore. I could be wrong but I think it was the whole bird and I think on the bone gave it all that flavor too.
  14. Hi Davey, we still have A LOT of processed foods on the market......back in the day more folks ate them over "real food"....or so it seems. Nowadays, I think (just my opinion) more people try to eat better, well, sometimes anyway LOL.
  15. And here is another brand of what has been on the market for years and years.......fortunately, we did not use it.......when Mom made a dish with cheese in our home, it was 100% real cheese.......... Velveeta, not so much LOL
  16. This looks really good! I wish they were doing sailings this summer. It says March, Nov and Dec.
  17. Oh wow, my mom made chicken cacciatore when I was a kid too---and we are not Italian either LOL.... I remember it being really good. Not sure what her recipe was but it is tomato based, right?
  18. Hi, I am doing the same thing......my flight from Athens via Vienna arrives at JFK at 8:00pm in the evening. I am staying overnight at the airport and taking a flight home the next morning. There were no late flights home anyway and no need to stress whether you would make it (even if there was). Personally, I think you are doing the right thing.......😀
  19. Good morning, Melissa, I sailed with Uniworld back in 2019 out of Venice on the River Po. It ended up not being on the river but we went to all different places via the canals. It was awesome. The experience on and off the riverboat was excellent😀 That sailing was in Oct 2019. I am sure July will be much hotter....... Cynthia, dinner sounds delicious. It is always nice to find new places and have them be really good! Glad you had such a good time.
  20. Beautiful pictures, as always😀. Sounds like (and looks like) you had a wonderful and delicious weekend.
  21. Thanks for the reply and detailed explanation. No, it is not too much. I have been following along (not nearly as close as you though) and I did have the same thoughts about Norfolk Southern....they are really the true responsible party in the whole mess and certainly don't seem to be answering the questions!
