Aloha - Do know that St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wailuku (about ten minutes away from Kahului Harbor where the ship docks) will be having a 9:30 a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday. Kaahumanu Church in Wailuku has a 9 a.m. Mass that day, and is about the same distance away from the harbor. It is a rather old church, and they do Mass in Hawaiian and English - though we don't think they are Catholic. Just two options that may work for you and be a special experience.

We see that Dr. Beach has Coronado Beach in the #7 spot on his list and TA has it in the #8 spot, which sounds like they do think alike at times and perhaps aren't that absurd.

As we remember it, we wouldn't call the Coffee Connection on the Navigator a "coffee shop". It was just a room with chairs, tables/desks and some computers for guests to use. There was a small room off of that area that held the snacks and beverages. Very casual and do it yourself sort of thing as a rule. Please correct us if we are wrong.

The private dining room (named "The Study") on the Explorer and Splendor is for the use of Regent Suite guests only.

We would be very surprised if they were closed. Do read their website though and give them a call or email them and ask any other questions you might have about their place. As said, they are very popular.

We don't take advantage of any of their excursions. We go because we enjoy their ships.

With all due respect, we somehow thought everyone knew about Don Blanding; Missionary dresses; Mu'umu'us; Aloha shirts and Aloha Fridays, etc.

With all due respect, we ran into a heavy mosquito population in Papeete in what would be considered coastal and tourist areas. Thankfully, the repellents we used worked.

We took a look at what is offered with tours up here, and we certainly agree with BermudaBound2014 that it is best to do it yourself. We just went to Ulupalakua earlier this month and had lunch at the Ranch Store. They have lamb, elk, beef and venison burgers. Not the tastiest things in the world, but fun to try. The views on the way up and back are spectacular if the skies are clear, and there is good road at least as far as Ulupalakua. The winery across the road is usually popular. We could go on, but everyone should do a little research and see what, if anything, appeals to them. Guided tours of the area are several hundred dollars per person. Save your money. Design your own tour and rent a car. If you have questions or want helpful hints, ask the contributors on CC who have been there/done that. It does make for a nice day...
