I haven't seen the plastic one in quite a while. Lately all I have seen are the paper ones but they are actually quite resilient if you are gentle with them.

The "trick" (my trick, anyway) to really stuffing the W&F bag full is to be sure to GENTLY push the smaller items (socks, etc.) carefully into the corners at the bottom. That space is hard to fill unless you make a special effort. 28 items is impressive. I think 20-22 something in that range is my personal record ! LOL

Is LV still complimentary for full Suites ?

I wonder if this [having a Genie/Star Class] is a test for maybe expanding SC to the smaller/older ships. They originally said that the Suite Class would eventually be extended beyond O and Q (and now, Icon) classes but that never happened. Maybe this is a trial ?

Hard to believe that Royal would put a Genie on a ship for 9 months to service 4 people. I guess it could happen but it doesn’t sound like the penny-pinching Royal of late…

Won’t the SC pax on Serenade get unlimited specialty dining ? Now, I realize that this perk will become tiresome very quickly with the limited specialty restaurants onboard but it is definitely a SC perk….at least on the other ships that have Royal Suite Class.

Hmmm…so if it’s only the RS and there are 8 reserve towels laid down in the theater then that must be a VERY crowded RS !

BOGO is definitely NOT usable for Chefs Table (this is explicitly forbidden in the T&C). I have no experience with TA vouchers so I won’t attempt that one but my generalized opinion is that BOGO and most likely any dining voucher would be useless in conjunction with the UDP.

Yeah, the weather has been shi++y today (Nassau) but pretty clear previously. Dans iPad as well as the ships PCs have been equally crappy but I will try one of our phones and see what happens. Turnaround tomorrow then off on another high adventure back to PDCC and Nassau. Good thing I just love to cruise and don’t care where I’m going ! 😂 11 Pinns on this sailing.

On Freedom now and the internet (haven’t tried calling of any kind) is dreadfully slow. I thought maybe it was an access point issue but even when I went to the library and used their onboard PCs it was slow. Not sure why but….ugh.

We were disembarked from E once when we had embarked at G. Can’t recall which ship. They also told us there would be a bus….which never showed, so we just walked. It’s not really that far. What a PITA. Hopefully Serenade will be at G as expected.

I can confirm that Ben & Jerry’s is gone from Freedom. It is now a generic ice cream store front. I cannot tell whether it is actually open for business but my guess is that it has not yet reopened. The cows are gone from aloft.

I have had trouble recently trying to "alert" my CC banks when we go away. For reasons which I really cannot fathom, BofA (RC Visa) no longer accepts "foreign travel notifications". Really ? They told me that they would text me if they have a suspect transaction. I just laughed...what ? I will be in a FOREIGN COUNTRY or on a ship...ever hear of Airplane Mode ? I just don't get it. There is virtually NO way to let them know that I am going to be out of the country. Stupid beyond imagination. So I just don't use my CC when I'm away. Simple. So far I haven't had any issues with onboard charging (casino, mostly) but when that finally does happen...and I have no doubt that it will, eventually....there is going to be a reckoning.

Boarded Freedom today and smelled skunk weed out on our balcony before we even left the port. Ugh.

Yikes ! We had one of those faucets when we lived in VA and to my knowledge it never activated by itself. It never even occurred to me that it could. I actually hated that faucet. 😂

I guess I’m not grasping the cause for this one. If nobody is home, why would you need to disable the motion activation on your faucet ?

Sky Pad is still there but of course the bungee and equipment have been removed. They are using the space for various special events, none of which I personally attended, so I can’t really comment on what they are. Seems like they use it for corn hole was one… Indy is great. Have a great cruise.
