Our bus took us all the way to the road closure. We had plenty of time to see wildlife, mountains, including Denali, beautiful scenery, and two rest stops. Also stopped for photo opportunities.

We did Denali in July, and enjoyed it. Rain on train ride up, but then weather cleared, and we were able to see Denali (we're now part of the 30% club) Lodging was fairly primitive, as advertised, but we made friends that we then spent time with on the cruise south.

Whisper cruise Dec 12 showed up today.

We're doing the opposite itinerary from Buenos Aires to Santiago in March. Still trying to get clarification on whether the red coats can be rented for the cruise. We'll be leaving from Florida, and would prefer not to have to take our own. Looking forward to following your adventures!

I thought I read somewhere that heavy coat is provided for dog sledding on Mendenhall Glacier excursion, but can't find it now. My husband would prefer not to pack his own. Can anyone confirm?
