  1. When is your next grand adventure? I hope all is well in your world.
  2. On your cruise there should be at least ONE "Fill The Bag" for one price on your cruise. I usually wash one or two items every couple of days in the bathroom sink and hang on the towel racks.
  3. From the deck plans, I do not think noise should be an issue with Inside Cabins on Deck 15. Enjoy your cruise.
  4. Are you sure about the Jade. According to the website, Deck 15 only has one cabin on it (a Haven Site) no Inside cabins.
  5. Very wrong--- A very drunk 20 year old college student jumped overboard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship a few days ago and has yet to be found.
  6. Will you be in Alaska on the 4th of July? Alaska became a State on the 4th of July 1959.
  7. Spring Break is usually from President's Day in February through the Sunday after Easter. With Easter being on the 20th of April and the end of the school year beginning in mid May, Spring Break will probably wind down in late March or early April. Since you are looking at a 12 Day, there may not be a lot of kids on your cruise. Most parents probably will not want to take their kids out of school for more than a week. Keep in mind that more and more people are homeschooling their kids these days. As as solo Senior Citizen type passenger, I would be comfortable in booking either one of your 12 Day cruises. Enjoy
  8. As of five minutes ago, NCL is still listed as a participating cruise line for the Port Valet Program. The Bliss is the only cruise scheduled for THIS weekend and next weekend (the 20th). Check the Port of Seattle's website for participating airlines. Ships due in through 30 April: 19th The Sun 20th The Bliss 23rd Carnival Spirit 27th The Bliss 28th The Encore 30th HAL Zaandam Dawn Princess
  9. The Sun is a very small ship. Reservations for the two Main Dining Rooms are probably not needed. Dining for both are open seating. Dining Rooms usually open about 5:30 P.M. and are open as late as necessary. There may be a line when the dining rooms open but lasts only a few minutes. One of the main dining rooms is off the ship's lobby. The Sun is a wonderful ship. Enjoy
  10. Love the Dawn and Jewel Class ships-- smaller ships, less passengers, crew seems to be less stressed, very few lines for anything.
  11. I have never been able to do that and I have a fairly high Latitude status. The OP was asking "where on the ship do get get a Prior Tender Ticket". My question would be: are" Tender Tickets" issued at a specific place and time anymore?
  12. The only Prior Tender Perk that I know works is to purchase a shore excursion from the ship. I think that Prior Tender Ticket is mostly a myth.
  13. Probably one if not both doing Tampa. Would love to avoid the nightmare Miami can be for Panama cruises (in particular disembarkation).
  14. I would vote for the Dawn. Smaller ship, less passengers.
  15. Dawn is docking in Barcelona in a few hours after Her African adventure. Then on to Her Summer Season mostly out of Southampton, U.K.
  16. Check with the people at the Theater Box Office when you board, they can which shows need reservations and make them for you. Enjoy
  17. The tables by the picture windows are usually 4 top (4 people) or 6 top (6 people) not 2 top (one or two people).
  18. The Garden Cafe is the buffet-- food quality and quantity will probably depend on the Food and Beverage Director and the Executive Chef. They should have daily lunch and dinner specials advertised in the Freestyle Daily.
  19. The Great Outdoors (outdoor dining space outside of thee rear of the buffet across the stern of the ship) will probably be very chilly in the evenings for dinner. Great place for lunch. Lots of people going out there to take either sunrise or sunset pictures.
  20. One side of the MDR menu should rotate on a nightly basis. The other side may rotate on a weekly basis. On the 25 night cruise, you will probably get some duplication of menus. MDR's are open seating: no assigned tables or dining times. Waiters will probably rotate serving stations at least on a weekly basis. Safe travels and enjoy
  21. The FIRST Alaskan cruise of the SEASON (the Bliss) left Seattle, Washington several hours ago. The Spring/Summer/Fall sailing seasons have begun. Prayers for safe travels for everyone.
  22. Check out the ship's library.
  23. As of a couple of hours ago, Norwegian was still listed on the Port of Seattle's website as a participate in the Valet Program. I would double check with Guest Services when you board. By the wording of your notice, it might be canceled for only your cruise. You are the very first cruise of the Season, Port staffing for this program might be the issue.
  24. I would double check on both The Empress's website and any social media website they may have.
