Does anyone know where Iona docks in La Coruna? We have been many times and always docked more or less in the town but last time we docked in the town ( on Ventura I think) but Brittania was also in that day and they docked in the working port futher in and passengers had to be bussed to in front of our ship. I just wondered if Iona and soon Arvia being a lot bigger might have to dock in the working port.

I see Emerald Princess is in Belfast today so they hopefully might have heard the Proclamation read out for the new King and the cannons etc.

Anyone on board at the moment, did the Captain announce the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II? We were onboard last week, pleased we weren't at sea when it happened, so sad. I know it has been reported that MSC Virtuosa and at least one of the Celebrity ships cancelled the parties planned for that night .

We still have a few post boxes here with Edward 7th on them so must have been put up between 1901 and 1910 and plenty with George 5th (1910 to 1936)

I agree it was great before when you could just turn up.We always eat early so we could get to the early show. The Theatre is one of the things we most enjoy on a cruise so would be gutted if we can't get in . Have been on two Princess cruises out of Southampton since Covid and they were both just turn up as before.

Are the shuttle buses still free for Select bookings? I notice now if you try and book and it gives you the choice for select and early saver it doesn't list shuttle buses any more. It used to have a tick next to select for free shuttle buses and no tick for early saver or saver. So are they charging for them now for everyone?

Oh the altitude skywalk is paid for as well , that's disappointing. It will soon be like other lines where you have to pay extra for everything.

The champagne fountain was back last night, first time since before the pandemic apparently.

Sorry for confusion. Yes we were charged the correct amount in dollars. My query was I expected to pay £43.14, which was the original price on the app after the 50% . I was epecting to pay the conversion rate at the time. I did realise the $60 was the correct price in dollars which is why I never complained. On another note the internet reception is terrible , we can't get our ring doorbell info to come through at all. The number of people queuing up at the internet cafe with complaints is amazing.

An update as onboard now . After being sent from pillar to post on the ship we eventually found the Medallion manager who knew all about the problems. He charged me 90 dollars and put 30 dollars back into our onboard account. I think it should have been cheaper than 60 dollars for one device but I wasn't going to argue over 10 dollars. When he put the 30 dollars back on he seemed to have a list of other people with same problem.
