We always have had a balcony for the natural light and fresh air. ….and rarely do we sit out there for extended periods of time. Going in and out of port from your own balcony, sometimes in PM with pajamas….is the best.

Warm stone loungers still good. My favorite. No view in there but calm and relaxing. Go look onboard to see about steam. Then decide if worth it.

Always get drinks from bar. Better pour. No ice melt. No wait ordering in MDR.

On Celebrity, there is unlimited (No counts) on the Zero Alcohol package. I would assume the same goes for Princess.

Emerald does not have Enclave but I believe the Lotus Spa does come with Suite perks. Anyone who has traveled recently, please advise.Ty

I prefer Celebrity over Princess but have never had your experience on any cruise….last Oct on Celebrity, meat in MDR was not good. however, if you are traveling solo, that fact alone puts you in a different category for needs of stimulation, less interpersonal availability, and wanting to find some satisfaction in the food and/ or entertainment. Your post sounds like you where generally unhappy and the outside stimulation was not good enough. Period. That being said, I can understand Disney and maybe RCCL offers more for you. Try Oceania, lots of ports, good food, evening HH where you can meet others that just do not talk about assessing the ship.

I suggest the small passenger count on O compared to princess might have something to do with better service & keeping staff. Common sense.

I would pick Lido forward. Don’t worry about noise. access to buffet, outdoors, pools, bars, mast grill….good for her. We love it. Forward elevators less crowded on way to DR or activity on lower decks.

We are getting a room at Outrigger Waikiki. Very happy with my decision.

I am thinking of revising my plan. After Pearl Harbor on our own, Uber back to port area where the shopping center and nice beach within walking distance of ship. …then …rest on ship. Uber to Waikiki in late afternoon to dine at Hula Grill and walk around that area, during sunset.

Any of you know if this is available near Outrigger Reef Hotel Or Duke’s ….maybe at least an umbrella and chairs? any Day Passes that are available in Hotels?….only near beach…. what have you done? Too long for us to be without a place to rest between walks, et al….restaurants Thanking you in advance.

I have read Hawaii port and done research. We are first time in Hawaii….do not want volcano but prefer rainforest and other lush environments. Any suggestions from those who have been there or used a flexible private tour. Also, Kona looks more like we might just walk around after two days of excursions on Oahu and Kauai. I have read that Hilo has more lush areas. Kona private tours do not excite us. Can we just walk around there and do more extensive sightseeing in Hilo in March, 2024, Emerald Princess. Ty for all who have been there.

Emerald,older, doubt a Lounge.March 2024. I would not pay extra for a Reserve. …same MDR food. Bidding does not secure location. Do not want aft Suite. We walk but too far away from what we do, like gym.I did take notice of getting breakfast in Sabatini’s…..this,….might be a big plus. Ty for your feedback.
