I never have NOK in my pocket when visiting Norway - Either CreditCard or ApplePay - For CreditCard a contactless card is widely accepted.

There are two good hotels at the airport next to Terminal 3 - Clarion and Comfort (both Strawberry Hotels). From here there is a Metro to City every 5 minutes or a train every 10 to 20 minutes to Copenhagen central station. The alternative is a taxi to a hotel in the city.

It is possible to use credit cards and ApplePay in the vast majority of places and stores. I would suggest a contactless card as some payment terminals cannot read the magnetic stripe. There are public buses where it is only possible to pay with cash on the bus, but tickets can be bought in ticket machines or in an App.

No NCL ships are listed for departure 9 pm in September at Copenhagen Port web. NCL Dawn has two calls in Copenhagen in September - one at Oceankaj with ETD 4:00pm and the other at Langelinie with ETD 7:00 pm. Probably an error in the excursion - contact NCL.

Immediately, I would think that the time of departure stated by the cruise line is the correct one - an external excursion company cannot know when your ship sails. My best advise is that you take a taxi to Tivoli - buy a ticket at the entrance and take a taxi back to the ship. there are two cruise piers in Copenhagen. Alternative is public bus/metro.

Baggage will be checked through to the final destination - just go straight to the departure gate. It is the recommendation with a minimum of 90 minutes layover in Istanbul for international connections, so two hours is perfectly fine.

Itinerary and ports are the same. It is also my impression that the excursions are the same in the various ports. Hurtigruten uses seven older and different ships - however, all have been renovated recently - please note that the cabins are very different - double beds or bunk beds. Havila's four ships are new and identical. Both serve good Norwegian food - French delivered in the ports. Depending on how you order, you must check the terms and conditions regarding payment and cancellation. For Hurtigruten, there can be large differences in the raw price from the Norwegian web to 'overseas prices'

Another vote for Celebrity: Flåm, Geiranger are the tow best deep fjords impunity Norway and Bergen a very nice coastal city. Princess: Skjolden is ‘secondary’, while Olden is fine - also Stavanger is ‘secondary‘. Note that availability of cruises to Flåm and Geiranger will be very limiter from 2026 due to restrictions on emission from cruise ships.

If you have a SAS Plus ticket for your following flight out of CPH the SAS lounge (opposite finger C) is available. Many outlets in CPH and you might also have time for cinnamon buns at Lagkagehuset (several locations).

My answer is not different from @janetcbl - impossible to predict whether- I would go with either excursions with a refund or insurance covering missed ports.

I am not aware of bakeries that bake cinnamon buns on-site in CPH, but in my opinion Lagkagehuset has the best cinnamon buns - another option is Coffee Lab. CPH is undergoing a lot of remodeling right now, so fewer/smaller outlets.

No free shuttle. Bus 25 On Cruise days and 164 All dys - need to get tricket - in the bus only cash, App or Copenhagen Card. There is a kiosk at Oceankaj Selling trickets but expect long queue. Same ticket for bus to Orientkaj and the Harbot bus as well as Metro. Price for 2 zones DKK 24 (one way) to city.

October is low season and I doubt it is possible to find a large selection of excursions - probably that's why the cruise ship only has one excursion. Copenhagen is a very easy DIY location. What are your interests? One option is to book a taxi that can do a private taxi guided tour. My preference activity is the Canal Tour. But many options,

Harbour bus is public service - same trickets/price as bus and metro - if possible buy you bus/metro tickets in app. Alternative transport is bus/Metro or taxi. Hey Captain is a good option.

If Oceankaj you can take public bus (25/164) /Metro M4 to city (40 minutes) Consider the harbor bus 991 (boat) from Orientkaj to Nyhavn.

There are private excursions available - here some examples of Roundtrip Ålesund - Hjørundfjord - Ålesund - and - Hjørundfjord with MS Bruvik. There might be others. I have no experience with the tours.

I think it was a wise decision by Viking after the problems with Viking Sky in Hustadvika, Norway In March 2019 - Viking were not the only ones who had to change itinerary or cancel the sailing.

Port of Copenhagen can be many differentiere locations . - as by gnome12 you need to go from Oceankaj.

Hellesylt is just a technical stop for start of excursions ending in Geiranger. If you do not want to join ship excursions from Hellesylt you just stay at the ship and arrange excursion in Geiranger.

"What is most info" about transport to Andersen Hotel? - most likely that the ship docks at Oceankaj - it is 20 minutes by taxi (40 minutes by public transport) - another option is Langelinie which is about 15 minutes by taxi. If you provide the ship and date, it may be possible to find out which terminal.

I prefer from Bergen to Kirkenes - chances for Northern Lights after Bodø. Look at the timetable to see which cities the long stops are northbound and southbound - same timetable for Hurtigruten and Havila. Depending on possible excursions is also a factor. Different excursions whether you choose the north or south voyage. Plan for some extra days in Bergen and Kirkenes.
