    We live about 1/4 mile from a bridge.If I had not experienced the shaking of the house I would have thought that it was the sound of two large vehicles on the bridge.

    I just heard on ABC News that there is a 46 percent chance of aftershocks for the next 7 days. One of my daughters who teaches in a LI HS just texted and said that the school is on lockdown.

    I was home alone.My whole house shook.I called Toby.She did not answer her phone.My daughters called me and said they spoke to her.She was shopping and did not feel anything. Our town received an alert as a neighboring town sustained damage. I was in Southern California in 2002 during an earthquake and did not feel anything. I hope everyone is okay

    I just watched On The Line on Netflix.Several twists and one of the actors from Money Heist.It was pretty good.

    We were there in May 2008.People on CC told me to bring winter clothing which we did.Temperatures were in the 70’s.We did a 7 day land and 7 day cruise.Normal temperatures as we were told by residents were much lower.

    Many NBA players were better than they were in college .Jack Twyman is one.My friend Roger Brown was a better player when he was with the Indiana Pacers than any prior level of basketball.

    University of South Carolina has been called USC by NY media.I believe that South Carolina could lose no matter who they play in the finals because Indiana nearly beat them last Friday.I am biased but in my opinion the refs made several bad calls in the game. Next Fall all the Indiana fans who rooted against Caitlin will be rooting for her because she will be on the Indiana WNBA team.

    I am not counting out UConn.Caitlin wanted to play for UConn but they never wanted her She is dating the son of the Iowa Men’s Basketball team.She will be a starter on Indiana in the WNBA team next year .Pluses for choosing to play at Iowa.

    Why not this year ? It may be Iowa vs.SC One of my granddaughters friends is on a team that nearly defeated SC last week.They can be beaten.

    It was a 12 day and a wonderful cruise.We were browsing in a store in Curaçao.I was wearing a Born in Brooklyn tee shirt.The owner of the store asked where in Brooklyn I grew up.Much to my surprise and his I lived in a house directly across the street from where he lived .

    I had a pen pal in the early 50’s from Sweden.We never exchanged gifts ,just conversations.

    Very New York,very Baltimore,parts of NJ .Egg Creams are supposedly only sold in NY.I found it on a menu in a Houston Texas restaurant 20 years ago.

    I wrote a book in 1988.It is still being sold in Barnes and Noble and at at least two other book stores.For several years I brought copies on cruises,signed them and offered free copies to anyone who showed up at the Meet and Mingle who wanted a copy I have approximately 1200 books in my home ,some that I have had since the 1950’s.

    One of my son in laws grew up in the Baltimore area.His 82 year old mother ate it as a child.
