Today is the birthday of my younger granddaughter.She is 15. We are not celebrating today because yesterday afternoon she was playing Tennis,fell and broke a wrist. She is wearing a cast. Her parents are taking my older granddaughter back to college tomorrow and the birthday girl and the family dog will be staying in my house till Sunday.My wife and I will find a way to celebrate with our granddaughter .

Several years ago a friend of mine suggested that we go back to college and take some courses.He was a Math major. I have a Doctorate ,do I need more than one ?

I have been posting on a nostalgia message board since 1999.It is likely one of the few boards still existing that long .One of the reasons is that people do not argue there.

Nope,she has no interest in message boards and not much interest in the computer in general.When she worked she was an RN and her fingers never touched a computer.

When my wife was in college women either became teachers or housewives.My. Wife wanted to be a nurse but her mother said that is not for you.After our second child was born my wife went back to college to get her nursing degree and was an RN for 26 years.

My wife and I met at a college function way before the 90’s.

In all the years that the Internet has existed my wife has never posted on a message board. I began posting on a message board in 1999.It May have been the first or among the first boards.I still post on that board. In the latter part of 1999 a NYC magazine interviewed me for a story about the message board .

I have Ulcerative Colitis and if I do not eat Gluten Free I will get sick.

Many people do not tip at all.

My job reviewing records was only a few months but I spent 4 years notarizing music contracts for an agent .I never met any of the singers but I met their Managers and got many free passes to concerts .Some for backstage which were really good .I also got autographed pictures of the band members which I gave to my kids.

Yesterday I received a letter from my secondary health insurance carrier stating that they received a $3800.00 claim from a surgical supplier for me but could not identify the provider .I have not needed surgical supplies in several years.I contacted Medicare ,the primary carrier and they paid the company nearly $6000.00 for dates in May and June.I asked to be connected to their Frauds Department .They said they will investigate but could not tell me how long it will take.I said it is likely that this company will continue to bill on a monthly basis and asked that they put a notation in their computer.I was told that they do not do that and will continue to pay until the investigation is completed .How long will it take,he had no idea. I then looked up the company on line.It is located in Brooklyn,NY.There are hundreds of posts from people stating claims were fraudently paid .People living all over the USA were reporting this .I am going to call my secondary carrier on Monday .Hopefully they will have a better system.

For my first few jobs employees were paid in cash.I cannot recall when I got my first actual paycheck.

I have not eaten steak since I was a child and at an age when I had no control of what I ate.

The question might be do they know what a check is ?

Both of my daughters are teachers.One teaches Math to to the kids in an Elementary School as well as the teachers.My other daughter majored in Criminal Justice and then switched her major to Education and became a HS History teacher.

I took History of Latin America as an Elective and enjoyed it so much that I took the follow up in my last semester.
