We can't find the information of hours of operations for Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner for the Lido restaurant . any one know their hours of operation for those 3 meals ? TIA Cliff

Crystal yes it was very confusing for us . I asked & there really was no clear explanation .I just trusted the person I talked with in HAL's accounting department .Mond you it was a lot of money , $1600 that showed up on my credit card & not on the Gift Cards as they say it goes back to Cliff

Interesting we always thought that the persons money in their casino account went back to the source it came from ;but ,you are saying that a person can actually get cash & close their casino account .A novel idea

In the dry dock we hope that they stop the smoking from the Casino fown to deck 2 entertainment areas

At one time Holland Had tjhe Maadam doing a R/T sailing from San Diego to Central America . Do you think that HAL will ever bring back that itinerary .We sure like to do one of those sailings ;as we have been through the Panama Canal twice enjoying all the ports . A R/T from SD yo South America would be awesome

Besides any ones liver & kidneys would be hard pressed to filter all that booze

For us we could take 2 bottles of wine we like on board & pay the corkage .If we do take 2 bottles of wine we only drink one glass each at dinner .so the 2 bottles will last us . total cost $50 for corkage charges . We certainly can understand people who enjoy pre dinner cockails plus wine at dinner & even a after dinner drink . It is just when you get in your mid 80s like us ,the appeal isn;t there .Besides meds do not work with liquor

What is the cover cost for Canaletto & Tamarind per person now ? Do you feel they are worth the up charge if you have recently dined in those 2 restaurants ? TIA

Wow !! 2000 + lobsters served & no up charge .Truly a "Legendary Journey " As said earlier if we were 20 years younger we be on this 35 day cruise Enjoy every moment .

with Club Orange in Hand we would arrive in our home port SD at 10:15 yo 10:30 AM for priority boarding .If no Club Orange we then arrive 1:30 to 2 PM & loose the crowds from the earlier times

imo this standby although a great price deal is for the young or near young . We can see the advantage if you are able to be available to cruise on very short notice . In our case one we need a handicap stateroom & we prefer balcony handicap in VH category deck 4 on Pinnacle Class ships then we use Club Orange to upgrade the stateroom ,so our cruises have to be booked very very early in the process This program from HAL was not available when we were in our 60s .If it were we jump at the chance to sail for $49 per day .So Good Luck to All of you 😃

when we did our 5 Alaska cruises we all boarded them from Vancouver .Funny ,then we had no problems boarding any of the ships .All 5 cruises were in May .& several were add on to our repositioning cruises up to Canada Place . The last one we flew into Vancouver & stayed at a hotel where we could see Canada Place .Even then we had no problem boarding . How things have changed with reports of problems boarding in April /May

When we take any cruise I leave the I Pad at home .We come on a cruise not to be tied to the internet but to relax & enjoy the activities . when I come home I cancel 99% of the posts anyway . The only HIA package worth the money imo is when JAL includes the ppd gratuities

We use Club Orange exclusively on Koningsdam for our longer cruises .The cost per person is $15 per day & well worth that cost ,We get the cabin upgrade ,the club Orange dining room with one extra entre for dinner over the MDR menu, Priority boarding ,Priority tenders & a special line at customer relations desk So we book our cruises very early in the process & on long cruises over 14 days we book Club Orange
