Imo the stock will go up again . The danger is bad news about their debt , interest rates staying high etc .Otherwise I would buy the 100 shares for the On board credit if you cruise frequently . Remember get $50 for under 7 days ,7to 14 day cruise get $100 & 14 days or longer you get $250 in On board Credit by submitting the proper info to Stockperks .Certainly the price is very reasonable at this level

Essentailly ,stay away from when school kids are out of school . If HAL offers kids sail free or discounted expect a huge crowd of kids . Otherwise you should be ok .Christmas time ,Thanksgiving ie are tpical holiday periods to avoid HAL ships .Even summers cab be iffy if HAL is offering special deals for kids

My bad Crystal .Yes club Orange is available fleet wide however only the Pinnacle class ships of holland America have the smaller dining room ;where as the other ships you still dine in the MDR

sorry about the duplicate . Yes getting pre paid grats without HIA plan would be better on new bookings .We already have 2 bookings & if HAL had a prepaid gratuities offering with or with out we would definitely add to our 18 day Hawaii cruise Jan 28 ,2025

Seems to me your post is very logical . People must be flexible when cruising in different time zones

Holland America not only does 17 & 18 day Hawaii cruises round trip San Diego but ,they are doing both Hawaii & Tahiti 35 day round trip San Diego .There are many possible cruise routes for a Celebrity ship in San Diego port

Another possibility is San Diego round trip to the panama Canal & back to SD .There are many ports between the 2 locations bith in Mexico & Central America & could even do a partial transit of the Canal

Crystal thank you .We will be looking out on HAL's web site for the specials that you indicated could be Black Friday & in the summer months .Those gratuities are getting pricy for longer cruises & having pre paid gratuities helps a lot . so we are up for adding the Have It all with ppd gratuities included . I would not get the Have It all with out the pre paid gratuities . We are wine & soda drinkers not hard liquor . Candidly we would never have more that a glass or 2 of wine each day & it would be at dinner .I like a soda at lunch .so it is easily seen that we are not drinkers like others who get the Have It All for the alcohol aspect Cliff

We book Club Orange just to getaway from the queue impact.Well worth getting the cabin upgrade & the smaller dining room with a additional entre . Breakfast there as well .Lunch in the Lido or a deli sandwhich with extra meat

Hi imo 7:30 PM for early dining & 9 :00 PM or 9:30 PM for later dining show time would give people the flexibilityto make the shows more flexible to dinner times

I do not think that Celebrity would need to give away as you put it for a 18 fay roumd trip Hawaii cruise .I van tell you that Holland America sells out their relaticvely new pinnancle class ship ,Koningsdam both vfor Hawaii & The 35 day Hawaii.Tahiti cruise from & back to the San Diego port . Additionally ,San Diego has a lot of infrastruture that attracks many millions of travelers .Another cruise could be round trip West Coast as far as Astoria or even Seattle . There are a lot od west coast ports that are very attractive to cruisers . Also remember that there is a heavy density population in neighboring states that people could drive vs flying to the pirt of San Diego I make a strong case for either Celebrity or a RCL ship to dock in the port of San Diego . The Disney wonder frequents the port of San Diego & Disney has far less ships

Does HAL advertise the Have It all with the Cruise tips included often ?

California is getting hitvwith more storms . The prior cruise had rough seas on most of the voyage to Hawaii . We hope that your cruise does not experience those sea conditions . This is the first time we read reports of rough seas gong to Hawaii .Best to every one

Yes thart isthe ship we were on for Hawaii with Celebrity ,a October cruise. Certainly Celebrity could do a 18 day Hawaii cruise from SD round trip

We drove to San Pedro ,LA area last March tp dp a B2B soltice cruise to Mexico . The parking at the world cruise center is the worse we encountered in any cruise port . so we will never again go there . SD is our home port & we no longer can fly so we have been sailing on Holland America but ,it is not like Celebrity we are at a very high tier with Celebrity ,We are 3 star Mariners with Holland America now . so we would prefer a Celebrity ship even the M class would be just fine

We select Club Orange upgrade stateroom & the Club Orange smaller restaurant . The smaller restaurant gives a feeling of dining on a smaller ship .This club Orange is only available on the Pinnacle class ships cin the fleet ;which are presently 3 ships .Koningsdam ,Statendam & Rotterdam .to upfgrade it is $30 per day per couple on 14day or longer cruises & under 14 days $50 per day per couple . The cabin upgrade is well worth the money

There are some pacific storms out there as California is expecting them this week

showers on Koningsdam are generally very good space & the foot rest is a added bonus

what or where is that room with the tables in the pictures above ? We do not recognize it .

We love Celebrity & at one time Celebrity sailed from San Diego using the Mercury back then . Now that they have increased the fleet size couldd they assign a ship to do Hawaii round trip . West Coast & Mexico sailings ? We can no longer fly to the East coast or any other port What is your opinion

Discontinuing Lincoln Center is another entertainment venue that we miss a lot
