  1. What appetizers/entrees/ desserts did you like the least in the MDR - NOT specialty dining
  2. So if we put down say $500 Cash at the beginning of the cruise for Onboard account and already have drink package/special dining/excursions/tips paid for they'll take weeks/months to give us our unused money back?? All the other lines we've ever sailed gave it back in cash the morning of debarkation.
  3. The ICE in our drink is too cold - how dare they!! We want off this ship with a full refund including excursions which we already took and enjoyed, airfare, hotels pre and post cruise, airport parking, tolls and gas.
  4. Had that happen on one of our 1st cruises years ago (NOT Princess) both of us had a soda package as we don't drink alcohol, the staff in the theater asked for cabin # instead of collecting a bunch of cards. Well turned out people behind us ordered alcoholic drinks and gave our cabin # - we heard them and told the server they aren't with us.... Sure enough their drinks were charged to us anyway. Went to desk and had to get it removed explained what happened - claimed they'd check security tape to see who was behind us so they'd get the charges for their drinks. Rest of the cruise didn't say our cabin # so loud.
  5. Curious how many reach the 15 ordered but don't actually consume 15 - Order a drink that sounds good but take one sip and NOPE it's not what you were expecting.
  6. Never had it take longer than 48hrs for excursions - refunds for other things took weeks/month+
  7. Does her outfit qualify as "formal enough" for the Formal nights in MDR??? 😄 "make a paper airplane, egg drop, guess the number in the jar contests" Wait they have those as activities on Princess?? even with all these stuffy people that whine about how other people's clothing choices ruined their cruise.
  8. What brand do they provide when pre-cruise ordering through Princess for US sailings???
  9. Only tenders we've had so far sailing many different lines to many different Caribbean ports were the ships lifeboats.
  10. Well that's ok then just like our service elephant.
  11. Pet Rooster that acts as your alarm clock at home.
  12. Ways we've surprised people or been surprised: Since you know their cabin # Tell them you got them something and it'll be in their cabin when they arrive and to call your cell phone when they go to their cabin -Obviously nothing will be in the cabin but you'll know their location - Quickly Go to cabin knowing they are inside - knock on door covering peephole SURPRISE!!!! Works best if your cabin is close to theirs - hiding spot. If you use the same Travel agent - set it up that you're sitting together at dinner Show up early cover your faces with menus then when they sit down ask them - what looks good or do they cruise often Surprise!! Works best if know when they will arrive at embarkation terminal - Be sure to get onboard well before or shortly after - As they are in awe of the ship... tap on the shoulder excuse me sir/miss. Friends did it to me in the lunch buffet - sat down with tray... tap on shoulder "you dropped something" turn to thank them it's friend.
  13. At the airport, In the plane, in the taxi/ride share/shuttle or lines to get them, at restaurant, pre-cruise hotel - any number of places with plenty of people traveling to port day before embarkation. Test negative - could be positive between test and embarkation and still get on the ship no problem. Really hope the pre-testing goes away by December. Think how many cases have happened onboard with the pre-testing in place. Would like to see the numbers for what day of the sailings they started feeling sick- how many were more likely sick before boarding VS actually caught covid after embarkation.
  14. Exactly So FREE Tests for Everyone!!!
  15. So what's stopping people from saying they were exposed, yet just doing the testing for travel. Flawed system IMO.
  16. Slightly the opposite of you - I'll go to bed on a cruise at 1-2AM and be up again at 5-6am. Haven't been on that specific ship but I've seen pretty good views of the stars on others by: AS EXPECTED--going to the upper most deck facing away from the most deck lights (which are plenty).
  17. Personally bring a few small envelopes for this but usually hand directly to them after final night dinner. All cruises we've been on the MDR staff pretty much has gone around saying goodbye - that's when we give it to them.
  18. Never missed the ship but do like to pretend being pier runners like those we see in online videos.
  19. Whose to say they got it on the ship at all. Could also get it on the way home on flight, taxi/bus, hotel, gas station, restaurant.... Way too many variables to say how many are due to the cruise specifically. Not to mention the numbers of people that are asymptomatic and don't feel sick so don't test. The numbers are flawed regardless.
  20. Erroneous - If you don't WANT to find positive cases - STOP TESTING and instantly won't find positive cases. STOP going to ports/countries requiring testing after original pre-embarkation test.
  21. Meant - Hallway waiting to get on/off at a port especially tender ports/embarkation terminals - we have and it's been longer than 15min around people. No not "every soul" just anyone that they came in contact within 6ft for 15min or longer. If we're to continue going with what the CDC says. With the medallions tracking location onboard it would be easy. At disembarkation nothing changes from what they currently do other than it's more people.
  22. But whose to say others aren't also sick If they aren't tested because of not showing symptoms/feeling sick. If one person (known to be sick) is in "isolation" should not Everyone they came in contact with at the buffet, MDR, shows, getting on/off the ship in port, pass in the hallway etc... be in quarantine.
